It's funny now because all of them except Niall now have more than 27 tattoos. Niall's the only one without tattoos. Louis used to be anti tattoo and look at him now.

Their water fights and when they mess around with each other aren’t choreographed but many of their “ dance moves” are. For example the “roll your boat” dance that they do sometimes, is choreographed or their positions on stage as well are many times choreographed

A lot of their moving around the stage is choreographed, even though it's not dancing they have different actions and positions that are planned. if you watch the This Is Us film you'll see a bit of this.

Bearded Reactions Their messing around on stage isn’t choreographed but the few times things that are choreographed you’ll be able to tell. It would usually be during a TV performance that they would “step it up.” They would synchronise the direction they walked in and things like that 😂 You’ve picked up on it in a previous video. At their shows they had a few choreographed moves they would always do: a specific rowing the boat type dance during the instrumental of Live While We’re Young, sitting down whilst singing Little Things, and a specific pyramid formation during Harry’s solo in What Makes You Beautiful. You would think that would be the very basics of any performer’s choreo, but with 1D that’s as complex as it would get 🤪

the thing is their positions on stage are supposed to be choreographed like how in over again they were sitting and who and where they're supposed to sit , same goes with little things , but just as they said in the extra of san siro , the boys just move around and do what they do and it ends up perfect , it's more like where they're supposed to be you know especially when the stage got bigger , sometimes they'd be in the front others at the back so they're like told during this song you'll come out and play around do what you normally do in that specific space , during this song , you'll move to the front part of the stage , during this song you'll stay there , during this song you'll go back to the middle , during this song you'll sit , you get ? but like the other things the messing around and all is just them , and sometimes they get carried away and continue messing around lol

No they don't have choreo, they did that kind of things (water fights, crazy things, etc.) because they are just being themselves even in stage or wherever they are, watch more videos of them and you'll see especially their behind the scenes, interviews, etc. They where cuties.

This tour was great. Liam’s the one always hyping up the crowd, it’s always ‘sing it out’ or ‘let me hear you scream’. And of course Liam’s doing the whistles. The water fights I don’t think could have been choreographed. I think one day Louis poured water on Liam and that’s how they started, because it’s really only Louis and Liam that do the water fights.

5:38 I love Louis voice... so wait, maybe that is why so many people hate on his voice... because they don't like punk rock? Would they even know what punk rock is today? I feel old now.
They are absolutely doing choreography on stage. It's all planned out when/how they should walk over the stage and who should go left while another go right or to the middle, stand together as a group or spread out. It was pretty bad at times when they moved across the stage in their first tour, very stilted and they looked so awkward. Now they are moving fluidly and it just comes more natural to them. If you watch the same songs from different concerts they move around in the same patterns. Unless the stage is smaller or have a different layout. Water fights and other types of attacks is of course not planned though. I don't know if you've noticed but Liam is dancing around a lot in his dance style. He's the only one sort of dancing to the music. The others just play dance the moves from the music videos.
It really is so funny to remember the interview where Louis says he likes tattoos but "they're just not for me" and then a month or two later he did his first tattoo. Only Niall is still ink free. Ohhh. You should watch the tattoo roulette with James Corden. Poor Niall. I mean it's kind of obvious it was fixed but Nialls anguish was real.

The songwriters also didn't go through this, it's by my favourite band called McFly (well by 3 out of 4 members of the band) and they're happily married guys so probably some blast from the past here, because they have songs Obviously and Unsaid Things that are pretty much about the same situation:) Good songs, maybe you should check them out :)
