The elite is made with bmw cloud programming and the im608 does not have bmw/benz and is geared for Immo and KEys. The elite has 2 years update vs 1 year on im608 as well
I nearly bought an ms906 from a local distributor for about 2000€ but ended up buying a mk908p with the j box from autel uk for about 2060€ delivered ...! Also managed to get JLR sdd working with the j box and no problem doing programming and coding on a few BMWs too without a bother! Would love an im608 at some stage.
Hi mate love the stuff you put out has the im608 pide for it's self yet As someone that is starting out key programming And still wants to wants to have something I Can do diagnostic on would you say the im608 Is the best option
The realist video on this subject. its so annoying everyone u ask about these autels has an agenda lol anyway its nice to listen to that zero $hitz given opinion that tells u how it is. Well done, im subbin
I spoke to someone from the official autel and they said they dont even do the 608 in the uk and i would have to get a 908, this shit gets more and more complicated as u go along lol
ms908im first car Bmw 520d 2009, add spare key. it failed. both spare and original key not working. Can 3 file corrupt. Error messages on dash of car. Only able to fix by using obdstar which has pass thru tech and only £1500 where as Autel £4000 and junk. Tech support one person and no knowledge of key programming. sends form and after its sent to Germany Autel and then few days later answer sent to me by form. Very crap experience. DO NOT GET AUTEL UK. DO GET OBDSTAR
Your Autel has passthrough. Again as per my other post I don't sell tools so not defending them, but if you don't understand how a complex system like CAS works and the precautions and dangers involved how is that the fault of the boys at Autel in Dunstable? And why would tool salesmen know anything about vehicle electronics or locksmithery?of course they need to co tact technical people. You can go to boots and by a scalpel, pretty sure they nor the scalpel manufacturer can help if you botch heart surgery
@@SpeedTweaks if you dont understand CAS 3 hows that the fault of the boys in Dunstable.....? Did you just say that....? I never said I did. I however did say that the machine screwed up my customers BMW. I followed the on screen directions and it screwed up the cars system. Do you expect when it says it covers that car for it to not but cock it up for you after you spent 4k on the machine? Hardly. Its not about whether I understand or dont understand CAS 3. Its about the system aint professional enough. My obdstar took over and fixed the issue whereas Autel was leaving me buggered. As for calling the support line and getting no support, what do you think. Thats ok yeah. So you recon the support fee of £700 per year for that bollocks is acceptable too yeah. Dude me thinks you have a crack cocaine issue. Clearly something heavy affecting your brain.
Richard you could have spent over £20k on a proper tool and still have the same issues. It's nothing to do with how 'professional' the tool is, it's about how professional the end user is. How much time and money have you invested in learning? Or did you just go buy the tools and decide that's it I'm now a master of all things this tool lists? Both the Autel and OBDstar list Pin pull capabilities on Peugeot and Citroen vehicles, would anyone who had spent the tiniest amount of time understanding how they work risk it? Unlikely. I don't know for sure what happened in your instance but would imagine it was during downgrade it failed? The tool does warn you beforehand. As for my crack cocaine addiction, what can I say its tasty and fairly moreish.
@@SpeedTweaks what a load of old bollocks suggesting its about the end user. Maybe its weed killer you are snorting instead. I mean for fucks sake. On screen it says exactly what to do. You follow it and then it says key ready, does it work. You test and it does not. So you select key not working. So it asks you to test original key still works. You try and it does not so you select no it does not work. Then theres no more advice. Nothing. No more questions. It literally leaves you there. So how the fuck is that end user being me, my fault? Mate turn your head to one side and shake out out the rusty nails or whatever is in there. Clearly aint a brain . What is it you snort…? I think its Elephant Dung. Something potent.
Well bud, I was trying to be helpful to you, and many others. But clearly you have your mind set. Yes you the end user it's your fault, too lazy or stupid to invest any time in understanding what they are doing. So you carry on 'pressing buttons', me with my no brain will carry on earning a living repairing stuff that button pressers fuck up. As for the boys in Dunstable, I might go in dry just for you

This video is a load of bollicks and makes no sense. You say 'If you buy off amazon your an idiot anyway'.Well if you do buy off them you might be buying a grey import which you say is great (same software). Then you say the guys at dunstable are good for support. ok fair enough but why have they advertised about avoiding grey imports on there site!!
you mentioned end user. you have 27 likes in 2 years. you think you are the best. only in truth you are the end user too. show me one grain of C++ engineering skills and my ears might open when you talk about the quality of these two machines. The mk908p has the Benz/Bmw Clowd thingy but doesn’t do keys.
@@billytremoloband7456 yes the mk908 does but that’s not a USA model no fca access to secure gateway

Very true mate the imports are better plus guys at mobile eco tuning are very good

Interesting because (December 2019) the cheapest place to buy is the Autel UK official website. The prices are cheaper than Ebay?
I bought one from “official uk autel store” and when paying the money transferred to a Chinese account......!

well said....
Do they really lock the im608 if you don’t buy it in the UK.
That is a recent thing. But if you check out mobileecotuning.co.uk you will find them at a great price and UK safe

I heard that sometimes you can get a grey import to 'update' but it reverts back to language of country of origin?
