That’s child abuse. Plain and simple. She clearly didn’t want to be pierced. Mine were done when I was 6. I asked if I could get my ears pierced like my older sister. My mother asked me to think about it for awhile. I did and still wanted them. I remember her asking me right before if I was sure and she got a clear, ‘yes’ from me first. Why? Because my mother was not and is not an asshole!
I believe it's come out that she was 4 going on 5. I could never do that to my little girl 💔 it makes me so sad and angry that her mother would hold her down like that AND the shop staff encouraged it and "supervised" it's absolutely disgusting
As a former pediatric RN who has given tons of vaccines, no. No. Just no. There’s a huge freaking difference between a child getting a required vaccination and a completely unnecessary ear piercing. Once a child starts reacting like that there is literally no reason to not call it off. Even if she had begged and pleaded for her ears to be pierced you give her a damn hug if she gets upset and walk the hell out of there. So unsafe, so unnecessary, so unkind.
Agreed! When and if my daughter decides to get hers pierced someday. We will be going to a piercing/tattoo shop not Claire’s or something where they use the dumb piercing guns. That poor kid there’s absolutely no reason for that, my heart hurts especially when she yelled get away from me.
@@chaleebergren2814 I'll do the exact same. I have a better understanding of the risks with piercings than I did 20 odd years ago when my firstborn had her ears pierced dare I say with a gun! I seriously regret that but back then it wasn't considered to be bad. I really wish I had the knowledge I have now back then, but we all make mistakes and learn from them
I absolutely agree that it should've been called off/stopped. It was very obvious she didn't want to get her ears pierced. The parents are terrible for forcing their daughter to get her ears pierced and the store employees are terrible people for doing it. I think that the incident is assault. On the other hand, vaccinations are necessary and provide some protection/assistance to the body if the person does happen to catch whatever illness the vaccination is for.
The police are involved with the staff and parents of the girl. According to the mum the child begged for her ears pierced and loves her shiny earrings now but the staff should have refused to do it!
I don't believe that the girl wanted to get her ears pierced or that she knew about piercings. Because doing a thing that inflicts pain, on a kid that frightened is wrong.
It doesn't matter what a child may or may not have said in the past. What matters is what she said at the time, and what I heard was "get off me." They should have gotten off her. End of story. Horrible, horrible parents and a store that needs to be shut down. Just toxic and awful.
It was child abuse clearly. No matter what she said in the past, her saying get off me was not consent plain and simple. If she really wanted sparkly things buy her some cheap dress up clip ons. She would be happy to wear them and it wouldn’t hurt like that.
I wanted earrings too when I was about 3 or 4, and begged my mom for it, but I sat still and told the piercer I wanted that, cause he asked me if I really want it. But if the kid is screaming it's clearly NOT okay and they should wait until they're older and ready for it

The child being pierced was ridiculous. They were actually holding her down. Even in the 70s my mom made me beg for 2 years starting when I was 7 before she finally thought I was kinda old enough. I say kinda because other people had to help convince her even then.
I wanted my ears pierced since I was 8. At 12 My parents let me get them done (at Claire's obv *boke*) and I had another 2 of trying to get them to heal properly. Honestly wish they had been more informed about piercing studios, waited until I was 16, and then had them done there.

I got mine done at Claire's when I was 5 and they were fine, but now I try to convince my mom that guns are not the way to go she still took my younger teen sisters to get their second holes done at Claire's shortly after I got mine done with a needle. Mine are perfectly healed while at least one of my sisters' aren't.
I got my ears pierced at the jewelry store (not claire's, actual goldsmith & watchmaker) in elementary school too , around 8-9 years I think, but my mom made sure I knew it was gonna be painful and I could have said no at any time, be it before anything happened or after the first ear when I knew what level of pain it was. It's bearable for a child that wants it, but has to be traumatic for a child that doesn't!
Seeing that young girl being held down and screaming genuinely upset me. When I was 7, I begged my mum to get my ears pierced but immediately changed my mind when we got to the appointment and I saw the needles. My mum didn't force me to stay; she did the responsible thing as a parent and let me leave. Some people shouldn't have children
I was around the same age when I also wanted mine done. I got one pierced realized it hurt quite a bit said no to the other and they took the one out and on my way I went.

I remember being scared and crying when I wanted my ears pierced. THANKFULLY the woman doing it waited while being really nice. And my Mom comforted me the whole time. Just waiting til I was done being scared and stressed. I think I even got a mall pretzel afterwards too so the whole ordeal wasn't traumatic like what that girl went through.
Idk but in India babies ears are peirced when they are two months only like not only girls but all babies it's kind of tradition and it also heals very quickly because the skin is very soft and tender yet. Mine were also already peirced lol so I had one less peorcing pain to go through.
Also, how to completely destroy a child's bodily autonomy! in the future, is she ever going to feel able to say no to anyone touching her, when she's learned that even when you beg and plead your wishes are overruled? Absolutely sickening.

My daughter started asking for ears to be done when she was 6, I told her no too young ask again later, she asked every year, I finally gave in and let her get them done when she turned 11 when she proved she could clean them and knew what she was getting herself into. I took her to the tattoo and piercing shop and they did it perfect for her. No one should be piercing any child who is scared, upset, screaming like that poor wee girl was, that was cruel

It’s interesting reading everyone’s stories. In my culture we get our ears pierced as a baby. I thought it was like that everywhere until I immigrated to the UK at 5 years old and I saw kids in my school without piercings and boys even had to cover theirs with a plaster in secondary.

6:55 That actually happened in Meadowhall which is a huge shopping centre near me and it makes me sick! Not only is that so distressing to the child but that poor girl is going to grow up thinking her saying "no" does not mean a thing. And then they’re mad at their kid for being scared to do something they aren’t ready for. Gross that these parents don’t understand consent.

It's one thing when your child is afraid of needles and things like that to have to pin them down for shots at the doctors; but because you want their ears pierced? all it's gonna do is traumatize the poor child and make her afraid of everything later in life...

Even if the child says they really want to have their ears pierced but change their mind while they're at the place, the parents (& store personnel) should back down. Forcing a little child to have this type of experience for their fist piercing is really traumatic. I was pierced at 4-5 years old. It wasn't scary for me and I don't remember hurting, my mum says I didn't even care. But if I behaved like that my mum wouldn't let me get my ears pierced. It's horrible and it should be considered child abuse.
This girl not only didn't give consent, she didn't know what to expect. The two big reasons why babies always scream loudly, after getting their ears pierced.
My daughter is 7 and wants hers but I’d never go to a Claire’s type place and I’m pretty sure legit shops wouldn’t pierce kids ears. This is absolutely child abuse and disgusting! If my daughter really wanted her ears pierced and someone legit did it.. If she changed or mind or decided after the first ear she wasn’t doing the 2nd i wouldn’t make her do anything, it’s her body her choice

@@krystalfloods6197 Probably professional piercers won't do it. I was pierced at a Pharmacy which is the norm in my country. 30 years ago that I was pierced, these stores didn't exist. Even now some pharmacies do piercings...with a piercing gun!
It’s so upsetting seeing little kids get ear piercings and they’re crying and screaming clearly not wanting it anymore and they’re holding her down and the “piercer” is hovering over her trying to do it without at least being patient and considerate 😭. Makes me so angry!

I worked as a daycare teacher for over 6 years (i am infant through preK certified) and even trying to keep the smallest baby still to give them medication orally is so difficult! When a baby doesn’t want to do something they unleash an inner hulk strength and they WILL fight against you

The child screaming "Get off me" is clearly not consenting to the piercing. If I was the peircer, I wouldn't have done it. I would've told the mom to go find someone else.
The long butterfly clip helix is a gun piercing, that’s why the back is spiked, they allow for some swelling by being long, so the reason it’s all gross is probably bc it was done by a gun!
My all regular earnings are done by gun. And none has got infected... Because I have followed instructions. Reason migh be that she has trinkets jewelry on

I had a fight with someone over the post with the baby held down - it’s cultural they said. I said well it’s a cultural thing that needs to evolve and change as we do!! The child will have that trauma forever. There is no justification for it IMO.
As a parent, I want to save that poor baby. My daughter was 7, asked to get her ears pierced. I took her to the shop I go to (they’re fabulous). Got 1, she was over it and didn’t want the 2nd so the piercer and I reassured her she’s not obligated to get the other. A couple days later she told me she was ready for the 2nd and I said ok and took her. Do better, parents!
I just had surgery yesterday and I've been miserable since. Then I saw that you had dropped a new video and it put a smile on my face. You are so wonderful Roly :) PS it's no fun to force tongue, septal and industrial piercings back in after surgery
Anyone who wants to get a cartilage piercing, dooooo ittt!!! I was scared to do it for years because I was terrified of the aftercare, but it really is as simple as Roly and other experts say! Keep it clean, don’t touch it, and get it done at a reputable piercing salon! Mine healed beautifully and I’m already thinking about doing more
This! As a 90s child I was efficiently scared by my parents about doing piercings. Wasn't tempted until I saw Han Ye Seul's glorious tragus piercing. Finally got mine done at 27. I can thank my parents though, they don't know anything about piercing but made me so stressed about getting one that I did my research and took good care. x)
I personally had a really hard time with mine healing (but I also heal stupidly slow). Though after the excruciating healing process of the first 7 months it’s 100% perfect now and I want another one too.
Cartilage really depends, I had two and they refused to heal for over a year, one constantly inflamed (not infected, just inflamed), and I had to give up on it, the other didn't turn well until I changed to a hoop, and is still very sensitive. My friend though can just get pierced and heal fine, cartilage certainly is more of a commitment than lobe.

I got my ears pierced at Claire's... with a gun (I know, triggered) a few years ago, it actually went well, but I am so glad I know not to go there again. Unfortunately neither I nor my family had any idea about the risks until I found your channel. Thank you for saving me and my brother from potential piercing disaster! And now that I'm getting into punk, my brother made sure to get me safety pin shaped earrings of a safe material, so my ears won't fall off lol
Parenting done right! - Me and my sister had our ears done together when we were young. About 7/8 I had mine done but my sister had her first one done and ended in tears and a panic attack. My mum asked her if she wanted them to just carry on but because she wasn’t sure. My sister walked around with one earring until she was ready to have the other one done a few weeks later….there is no reason to hold a child down like that….
That little girl was screaming "NO! GET OFF ME!" They just traumatized that child. Because that was just NOT ok. She was screaming and begging, and it wasn't a tantrum, that was because she was in pain. They should have stopped as soon as she started crying and said "No". That was abuse. I'd even say assault of a minor, because omg that was horrific!

The one piercing that kid was heartbreaking. I have a four year old daughter and I feel in a few years if she really wanted a piercing and took the time to educate on proper cleaning I would take her to get her ears pierced. But to force someone at any age to get an ear piercing is just disgusting.

It never had a chance to turn out okay, because I barely have a rim on my ear. Left me with a badly infected ear and scars. Piercing a child without their consent is just straight up child abuse. I got my ears pierced at age 5, and I really wanted it. My mom asked me multiple times if I really want it. I always said yes My mom just wanted to be sure that she’s not putting a 5 year old in pain for something they don’t want. Also when they got infected, my mom said that I should decide if I want to take them out or not (i kept one of them because the other one was very painful) Btw back then they were pierced with a … 💀piercing gun💀
I recently got my first cartilage piercing (after only having had lobe/septum/lip wich are soft tissues) and it is surprisingly easy to heal :D all those youtube videos about how annoying cartilge piercings are made me afraid for years (no one cares, probably, but I don't have any friends who like piercings, so I had to share this somewhere. lol)
Choices were made by the girl with all the peircings in her neck and i have to ask her how did she manage not to rip any out in her daily life Loving the different contacts and the tee 🖤

The crusty nostril piercing! She is ish onto something. Mine are studs w jewels so they are extra snaggy. Skin accumulates their quite well w my skin type. I will scrape around them w tweezers after a shower once a week and often use a low power spin brush on them. It's just easy and looks amazing. I have two on each side so it can look bad fast. She wasnt completely wrong! Just take the product away and use smaller tool. Edit: I use the cleen brand face wash you can find at Walmart on my healed nostril piercings and a saline spray afterwards. The wash is neutral af for someone needing a vegan and cruelty free cetaphil type wash.

I remember begging my mom to let me get my ears pierced as a kid and she let me do it for my 10th birthday (it was done with a gun at the doctors office lol but we didn’t know better). By waiting, that way I was motivated to get the piercings and I was more inclined to clean and take care of them!
As someone who works in an opticians and sees patients coming in with eye problems/infections etc everyday, I cannot fathom why you'd risk a potentially sight threatening eye problem by getting your eyelid pierced. All it takes is to rub your eye and scratch your cornea and you're risking all sorts of infections, especially if they then expose the area to water by showering or swimming. As you say, choices.

I pierced my own tongue when I was 13. The following day I “checked it” by taking the barbell out…Asinine? You bet…A mistake? Thee biggest…When I went to put the bar back in, I must’ve jabbed a nerve or something, because (right hand to God, on my daughter ) I instantly lost my hearing and vision for a good 3/4 minutes. They were gone entirely. I couldn’t see or hear a damn thing. It was, and still is, the scariest moment of my life - and I’ve lived an additional 20 years since then lol.

I BEGGED to have my ears pierced age 8 in the 90's. After the first stud went in, I was like OH HELL NO! My mum let me breathe and calm down, and told me we absolutely did not have to do the second hole and could just take out the first one if I didn't want to go through with it. Nobody rushed me or tried to influence my choice either way, and after 10 minutes I DID get the second one done - but it was ALWAYS my choice. I cannot imagine the distrust that is formed during a scenario where your parent is forcing such trauma just for aesthetics.
the only piercing sin I've done is: I sized my 20g piercing to 16g in my High school bathroom during economics class. SO EVERY TIME I SEE THESE PEOPLE DO SOMETHING WORSE HURTS ME. *PLEASE* DON'T PEIRCE YOURSELF OR OTHERS IN A PUBLIC RESTROOM. GET IT *PROFESSIONALLY* DONE!!
Parents should NEVER get their kids piercing when they're that young, I can understand earrings if the kids really wants them but even then, absolutely not. I tried to get my ears pierced when I was about that age, the piercer used a gun, I cried when one ear was pierced and tried to hype myself up for the other one and couldn't do it, my parents took me out of there immediately when I didn't want to do it anymore. If you need to hold your child down for piercing I consider that abuse. She screamed "get off me" and nobody listened, that could be traumatising.

I got mine done at 5 and didn't regret it, but I was lucky they healed properly considering it was Claire's. My mom still doesn't have a problem with that place but I know better. My younger sister got her second holes done there two years ago even after I tried to convince my mom to take her to a professional, and they still aren't healed. My second holes were done with a needle and are great.

It literally would have been so much easier for them to get the kid clip on's or stick on earrings. The child could then decide if they want real piercings when they're older, the child was clearly terrified and in pain in the video. What horrible parents, I dislike children at the best of times, but hearing them in pain is harrowing.

My mother asked me to think about it for awhile. I did and still wanted them. I remember her asking me right before if I was sure and she got a clear, ‘yes’ from me first. Why? Because my mother was not and is not an asshole!

As a former pediatric RN who has given tons of vaccines, no. No. Just no. There’s a huge freaking difference between a child getting a required vaccination and a completely unnecessary ear piercing. Once a child starts reacting like that there is literally no reason to not call it off. Even if she had begged and pleaded for her ears to be pierced you give her a damn hug if she gets upset and walk the hell out of there. So unsafe, so unnecessary, so unkind.

On the other hand, vaccinations are necessary and provide some protection/assistance to the body if the person does happen to catch whatever illness the vaccination is for.
The police are involved with the staff and parents of the girl. According to the mum the child begged for her ears pierced and loves her shiny earrings now but the staff should have refused to do it!

I don't believe that the girl wanted to get her ears pierced or that she knew about piercings. Because doing a thing that inflicts pain, on a kid that frightened is wrong.
It doesn't matter what a child may or may not have said in the past. What matters is what she said at the time, and what I heard was "get off me." They should have gotten off her. End of story. Horrible, horrible parents and a store that needs to be shut down. Just toxic and awful.
It was child abuse clearly. No matter what she said in the past, her saying get off me was not consent plain and simple. If she really wanted sparkly things buy her some cheap dress up clip ons. She would be happy to wear them and it wouldn’t hurt like that.
I wanted earrings too when I was about 3 or 4, and begged my mom for it, but I sat still and told the piercer I wanted that, cause he asked me if I really want it. But if the kid is screaming it's clearly NOT okay and they should wait until they're older and ready for it

The child being pierced was ridiculous. They were actually holding her down. Even in the 70s my mom made me beg for 2 years starting when I was 7 before she finally thought I was kinda old enough. I say kinda because other people had to help convince her even then.
I wanted my ears pierced since I was 8. At 12 My parents let me get them done (at Claire's obv *boke*) and I had another 2 of trying to get them to heal properly. Honestly wish they had been more informed about piercing studios, waited until I was 16, and then had them done there.
My mom made me wait until my 11th birthday! I was begging for years!

I got mine done at Claire's when I was 5 and they were fine, but now I try to convince my mom that guns are not the way to go she still took my younger teen sisters to get their second holes done at Claire's shortly after I got mine done with a needle. I got my ears pierced at the jewelry store (not claire's, actual goldsmith & watchmaker) in elementary school too , around 8-9 years I think, but my mom made sure I knew it was gonna be painful and I could have said no at any time, be it before anything happened or after the first ear when I knew what level of pain it was. It's bearable for a child that wants it, but has to be traumatic for a child that doesn't!

When I was 7, I begged my mum to get my ears pierced but immediately changed my mind when we got to the appointment and I saw the needles. My mum didn't force me to stay; she did the responsible thing as a parent and let me leave. Some people shouldn't have children
I was around the same age when I also wanted mine done. I got one pierced realized it hurt quite a bit said no to the other and they took the one out and on my way I went.

I remember being scared and crying when I wanted my ears pierced. THANKFULLY the woman doing it waited while being really nice. And my Mom comforted me the whole time. Idk but in India babies ears are peirced when they are two months only like not only girls but all babies it's kind of tradition and it also heals very quickly because the skin is very soft and tender yet. Mine were also already peirced lol so I had one less peorcing pain to go through.
Also, how to completely destroy a child's bodily autonomy! in the future, is she ever going to feel able to say no to anyone touching her, when she's learned that even when you beg and plead your wishes are overruled? Absolutely sickening.

It’s interesting reading everyone’s stories. In my culture we get our ears pierced as a baby. I thought it was like that everywhere until I immigrated to the UK at 5 years old and I saw kids in my school without piercings and boys even had to cover theirs with a plaster in secondary.

Even if the child says they really want to have their ears pierced but change their mind while they're at the place, the parents (& store personnel) should back down. Forcing a little child to have this type of experience for their fist piercing is really traumatic. I was pierced at 4-5 years old. It wasn't scary for me and I don't remember hurting, my mum says I didn't even care. But if I behaved like that my mum wouldn't let me get my ears pierced. It's horrible and it should be considered child abuse.

The long butterfly clip helix is a gun piercing, that’s why the back is spiked, they allow for some swelling by being long, so the reason it’s all gross is probably bc it was done by a gun!

As a parent, I want to save that poor baby. My daughter was 7, asked to get her ears pierced. I took her to the shop I go to (they’re fabulous). Got 1, she was over it and didn’t want the 2nd so the piercer and I reassured her she’s not obligated to get the other. A couple days later she told me she was ready for the 2nd and I said ok and took her. Do better, parents!

Anyone who wants to get a cartilage piercing, dooooo ittt!!! I was scared to do it for years because I was terrified of the aftercare, but it really is as simple as Roly and other experts say! Keep it clean, don’t touch it, and get it done at a reputable piercing salon! Mine healed beautifully and I’m already thinking about doing more
This! As a 90s child I was efficiently scared by my parents about doing piercings. Wasn't tempted until I saw Han Ye Seul's glorious tragus piercing. Finally got mine done at 27. I can thank my parents though, they don't know anything about piercing but made me so stressed about getting one that I did my research and took good care. x)
I personally had a really hard time with mine healing (but I also heal stupidly slow). Though after the excruciating healing process of the first 7 months it’s 100% perfect now and I want another one too.
Depends on your anatomy... Mine were uncomfortable to sleep on, so out of 5 in total I've only kept one of them and I only put jewelry in occasionally
Cartilage really depends, I had two and they refused to heal for over a year, one constantly inflamed (not infected, just inflamed), and I had to give up on it, the other didn't turn well until I changed to a hoop, and is still very sensitive. My friend though can just get pierced and heal fine, cartilage certainly is more of a commitment than lobe.

I got my ears pierced at Claire's... with a gun (I know, triggered) a few years ago, it actually went well, but I am so glad I know not to go there again. Unfortunately neither I nor my family had any idea about the risks until I found your channel. Thank you for saving me and my brother from potential piercing disaster! And now that I'm getting into punk, my brother made sure to get me safety pin shaped earrings of a safe material, so my ears won't fall off lol

Me and my sister had our ears done together when we were young. About 7/8 I had mine done but my sister had her first one done and ended in tears and a panic attack. My mum asked her if she wanted them to just carry on but because she wasn’t sure. My sister walked around with one earring until she was ready to have the other one done a few weeks later….there is no reason to hold a child down like that….
That little girl was screaming "NO! GET OFF ME!" They just traumatized that child. Because that was just NOT ok. She was screaming and begging, and it wasn't a tantrum, that was because she was in pain. They should have stopped as soon as she started crying and said "No". That was abuse. I'd even say assault of a minor, because omg that was horrific!

The one piercing that kid was heartbreaking. I have a four year old daughter and I feel in a few years if she really wanted a piercing and took the time to educate on proper cleaning I would take her to get her ears pierced. But to force someone at any age to get an ear piercing is just disgusting.

It never had a chance to turn out okay, because I barely have a rim on my ear. Left me with a badly infected ear and scars. Piercing a child without their consent is just straight up child abuse. I got my ears pierced at age 5, and I really wanted it. My mom asked me multiple times if I really want it. I always said yes My mom just wanted to be sure that she’s not putting a 5 year old in pain for something they don’t want. Also when they got infected, my mom said that I should decide if I want to take them out or not (i kept one of them because the other one was very painful)

The crusty nostril piercing! She is ish onto something. Mine are studs w jewels so they are extra snaggy. Skin accumulates their quite well w my skin type. I will scrape around them w tweezers after a shower once a week and often use a low power spin brush on them. It's just easy and looks amazing. I have two on each side so it can look bad fast. She wasnt completely wrong! Just take the product away and use smaller tool.
Edit: I use the cleen brand face wash you can find at Walmart on my healed nostril piercings and a saline spray afterwards. The wash is neutral af for someone needing a vegan and cruelty free cetaphil type wash.
Roly you crack me up 😂 I love your take on life. My daughter wanted her ears pierced when she was 4 & we went to my sister, who is a qualified beautician & piercer. My gorgeous girl held her chin high & she never even reacted when she had her ears pierced 💜♥️💙
I remember begging my mom to let me get my ears pierced as a kid and she let me do it for my 10th birthday (it was done with a gun at the doctors office lol but we didn’t know better). By waiting, that way I was motivated to get the piercings and I was more inclined to clean and take care of them!

As someone who works in an opticians and sees patients coming in with eye problems/infections etc everyday, I cannot fathom why you'd risk a potentially sight threatening eye problem by getting your eyelid pierced. All it takes is to rub your eye and scratch your cornea and you're risking all sorts of infections, especially if they then expose the area to water by showering or swimming. As you say, choices.

I pierced my own tongue when I was 13. The following day I “checked it” by taking the barbell out…Asinine? You bet…A mistake? Thee biggest…When I went to put the bar back in, I must’ve jabbed a nerve or something, because (right hand to God, on my daughter ) I instantly lost my hearing and vision for a good 3/4 minutes. They were gone entirely. I couldn’t see or hear a damn thing. It was, and still is, the scariest moment of my life - and I’ve lived an additional 20 years since then lol.

I BEGGED to have my ears pierced age 8 in the 90's. After the first stud went in, I was like OH HELL NO!
My mum let me breathe and calm down, and told me we absolutely did not have to do the second hole and could just take out the first one if I didn't want to go through with it. Nobody rushed me or tried to influence my choice either way, and after 10 minutes I DID get the second one done - but it was ALWAYS my choice. I cannot imagine the distrust that is formed during a scenario where your parent is forcing such trauma just for aesthetics.

Parents should NEVER get their kids piercing when they're that young, I can understand earrings if the kids really wants them but even then, absolutely not. I tried to get my ears pierced when I was about that age, the piercer used a gun, I cried when one ear was pierced and tried to hype myself up for the other one and couldn't do it, my parents took me out of there immediately when I didn't want to do it anymore. If you need to hold your child down for piercing I consider that abuse. She screamed "get off me" and nobody listened, that could be traumatising.

I got mine done at 5 and didn't regret it, but I was lucky they healed properly considering it was Claire's. My mom still doesn't have a problem with that place but I know better. My younger sister got her second holes done there two years ago even after I tried to convince my mom to take her to a professional, and they still aren't healed. My second holes were done with a needle and are great.

@@mkg2124 Yikes. Mine are done now, they got done with a needle and the healing went well. I also have a septum and I'm getting more at some point. Ofc now I'm old enough to make that decision lol. Claires shouldn't be allowed to do piercings idk how they're still at it

You said you have some deeper problems with trying new food and it may be due to a disorder called “Food Neophobia” which is a really fear of trying food (I have had this since I was little), or “ARFID” (Avoidant Restricted Food Intake Disorder” which is an anxiety associated with food intake!!! I hope this can help you with some research and give you some answers!!!💜

I saw that video @7:00 on Reddit a few weeks ago and immediately all I thought was, “Roly would (rightfully) be livid.”
It literally would have been so much easier for them to get the kid clip on's or stick on earrings. The child could then decide if they want real piercings when they're older, the child was clearly terrified and in pain in the video. What horrible parents, I dislike children at the best of times, but hearing them in pain is harrowing.

The video with the girl hurt my heart.. my child wants their ears pierced but until they are completely ready and understanding of the pain etc we won't do it.. also I will take them to a proper piercing place where needles are used.. AND if when my kid is ready and ends up changing their mind I'm sure as shit not gonna force them to go through with it
