This is a prime example of how some people can't handle receiving large amounts of money. Spent 300,000 in less than a year. Came from one of the wrost projects, public assistance, then was fortunate to come into enough money to be set for life (with smart decisions) and now is back in the hole. Smh.

I, too, am glad to see the judge express his desire to be a better human. I speculate this episode may have been recorded just before, or a little after, he and the show's producers received notice of cancelation.
I'd noted how at the start of the show's years long run how Judge Greg Mathis was more humble. He became more assertive during cases where one or both litigants incorrectly presumed his is an ill prepared or a not fully educated legal mind. The ratings continued to improve. He became well known, and he seemingly began to think he did it all on his own.
He, to me, seemed to have vague recollections of the divine grace extended to him.
I'm glad he knows he's a big deal, because of God in heaven's grace.😉😊

@TopherGrant Before the 2008 real estate crash, we had a 4 br, 3 bath that we had remodeled with an added 3 car garage to be used as a workshop with a separate office space on a tiny quarter acre lot. It sold for just over a million because it happened to be in one of the best school districts in LA county. We were very lucky at the time as far as real estate luck would have it, but my hubbster's parents were both very ill, so we needed to step in to take care of them - a kind of move to their home situation, which was okay because they had a huge 3 storey on the coast and my kids were graduated, but, ultimately it was a difficult life direction. And I don't think those real estate deals have been seen since then, not that I keep my finger on the pulse any longer... especially these crazy-ass days, aye?

No it's not! People of ALL RACES have blown large sums of money. There are millionaires OF ALL RACES and billion dollar corporations that go bankrupt all the time, so stop the racism just because the defendant is black.
Many countries, including America, have paid reparations to groups harmed by government actions, but it's only looked at negatively when it relates to descendants of enslaved Africans brought to America.

Forgiveness does NOT mean rhat you have to continue to be around those who have wronged you, even if "we're family". Forgiveness means pardoning the wrong/debt others have committed against you and not holding it over their head. We really need to get past this notion that Forgiveness means continuing being in the presence of orhers who have wronged you, especially if they are family. Distancing yourself from those who are hurtful, toxic, etc. etc.does not negate your love for them, nor does it make you a bad person- however it makes you wise enough to protect your spirit and your peace.

It was a yr later, not 6months. Unknown month in '17 a 300K lump sum was received by all sisters, July of '18 loan given, per plaintiff & confirmed by the defendant @ min 6:46 until she was bullied into saying 6 months by JM. JM is not a good listener. He made 6 months up out of thin air, no one except him ever said 6 months. It is mathematically impossible for 6months to work on a loan given in July of the following year. *JM makes up his own facts in most of his cases, shameful!*
