- The plaintiff says the defendant is her daughter. She claims her children were put into foster care because of the plaintiff’s destructive lifestyle. She’s suing her daughter for a damaged tire, a broken window, and emotional distress. The defendant says she and her siblings were taken away from the plaintiff because she was physically abusive. She’s countersuing for emotional distress.

I applaud the daughter for being able to express herself. I do hope that the daughter is able to heal and live the life she truly deserves to live!

The defendant needs to go and get therapy because you can physically see the exhaustion and emotional distress on her face😢 She needs to stay away from the plaintiff.
Sometimes its best off is the Cut ties off from their parents. I have few friends that cut off their Moms and never wants nothing to do with them. This daughter needs to get some Support from other folks and Cut her Mom off for good.
I can’t stand a mother that will apologize for the reaction their child had to their behavior and not address or apologize for their own behavior. She totally missed the point. I pray for this young lady.

It triggered me hearing that because my mom says that 😢.
They literally see no wrong in their doing and take zero accountability for their words or actions.
When you hold them accountable they claim you are just acting out of emotions and there was a misunderstanding or worse they'll tell people you're mental and that you react.... like that because it's something wrong with you so outsiders will dismiss if you ever told the TRUTH

JM was disgusted by the plaintiff's abusive past history and the ongoing negative traumatic effects that the defendant was dealing with from the actions of her mother. Also, the plaintiff lacked concrete evidence to make a ruling in her favor. I pray that the defendant finds peace and gets real help with counseling to overcome that emotional drama. ⚖️
I knew within the first 2 minutes the mom was full of it after her immediate attempts to cry with no tears.

Mental health is important. Plantiff failed her daughter but someone failed the plantiff if she had a child at 16 and running the streets. It's a cycle. They BOTH need help.
‘Mental health’ too often becomes an excuse for behavior towards harming another person and when it comes to your own children, your responsibilities do not evaporate because u have a mental health issue, she clearly is avoiding working on herself and went back to the kids as a broken adult expecting them to be her comfort blanket and punching bag at the same time

I wonder if the plaintiff was a victim of SA. Some SA victims suffer from mental health issues. And they may be the reason why she was violent as a teenager.

Coming back when ur kids are practically grown and treating them like garbage is messed up on so many levels.

I have no problem with a parent suing their kids as a teaching tool.
Like every so often you'll see a parent only sue because their kids aren't living or doing right.
However, I do have a HUGE problem with deadbeats suing their kids, even if they legitimately have a case.
Just take the L like your child was forced to in regards to your absence for all those years.

Any parent who has abused or abandoned their children should jump through hoops anytime their children contact them, saying they want or need something to ensure they get it. That is the very least they could do given the damage they cause(d).

As someone who is the product from teenage parents from drug-infected communities…she’s not telling the complete story and escaping accountability. I was a foster child for five years and my mother fought for YEARS to get us back. She was up against wealthy and educated people…but she brought finally brought me home. My mother made a ton of mistakes along the way and still has a long way tot go.

What does that have to do with my original point of how she’s not explaining why it took so long and why she’s lying about why they didn’t give her children back.

The defendant Ashley Jelks is a beautiful girl. From young she went through very difficult times. Now with her mother she is again going through abuse. I admire Ashley for her strength.
Ruining her daughter with a LIFETIME OF TRAUMA. And, the Plaintiff sues over a tire. I'm glad the daughter got some things of her chest(at the end). The Plaintiff said she apologizes that her daughter hates her and thinks badly of her, but NEVER apologized for her own actions. I pray for the Defendant and hope she finds the love she needs.
Dry the tears plaintiff. We ALL have a sob story. Apologize for not doing better, ask for their forgiveness, forgive yourself, and sincerely, do better now.❤
As the mother who wasn't in her life, she should just be humble, apologetic, and hope that her daughter will forgive her. This is an example of repeated trauma; hopefully, this young lady will end the cycle with her children.

Her daughter is hurt and still hurting , her mother doesn’t care about any of her kids and is still 16 mentally. It's sad cases like this that help put things in perspective and understand what's truly important in life. Also, it makes you appreciate the blessings you have in your own life. This was truly a sad case and the outcome at the end even more upsetting. People need to understand the potential pitfalls and the tragic outcomes if parents don't play an active and responsible role in the upbringing of their children. Her mother is a narcissist. They always act like the victim, when they are the oppressor. The narcissist's past childhood of abuse and trauma, they don't fix, and they put that on their own children. The daughter needs to get her own life away from her mom. The daughter needs therapy for the trauma her mom subjected her to, so the cycle of teen pregnancy, mother daughter abuse, is not generational curses, and done away with for good. 😊
