Destiny!! I loved this. I know many people wouldn’t appreciate such vibrant color, but you used it in such a creative way. I loved the wood accents. You definitely transformed that desk into furniture art 👏 👏 👏
I don't like desk to side table conversions - but you totally changed my mind with this project! This was a total home run! Fantastic flip and I love the colors!
Don't listen to the fussy people! I took a painted desk similar to this and removed most of the paint then painted part of it to cover the paint i couldn't get off and people were still angry!😂😂😂 You made it unique and gave it new life. I will agree with another comment though (i realize you may have done this and not shown it), for sharp corners, run a fine grit sandpaper over them to reduce the wear and tear over time. Still a lovely makeover!
I try not to listen to the fussy people. The way I look at it is they are interacting with my video regardless. The haters are still boosting my content. 🤪😏 Thanks so much watching! And congratulations on your win! well deserved! ❤️
I just found your channel and I am hooked. Please keep doing your videos just like you are! It helps so much to see exactly how you did each step and the products you used. Your photography is perfect.
Sometimes I jump the gun and forget to take the hardware off too because I'm so excited to start!! 😂 but I think that's great to know others get that excited too! I think that just means we love what we do!! I think it was a great idea just adding a new top. I have split up desks before and it can be tricky when they have the routered edges for sure! I love that you also revived the hardware.. the color is FUN!! I LOVE IT!!! THEY ARE AWESOME!!! Great job lady!!! And thank you for joining the challenge!!!
I’ve been 👀 at some other desks lately. I really have my heart set on one but I’m waiting for the price to drop just a tad bit more. 😅 Thanks for watching. ❤️
Nice job! I always forget about spraying, probably because my spray gun is a pain in the butt! 😆 This is making me think i should do it again! Such a nice smooth finish.
I absolutely love my spray gun. There is no going back for me. 🤣 keep practicing, you’ll get the hang of it. When I first started using my spray gun I bought a gallon of ops paint and practiced with that. That way I wasn’t wasting a bunch of expensive paint. I practiced spraying on cardboard and played with the settings until I had a good idea of how it worked. I still mess up every now and then but that’s okay! Anyways, thanks so much for watching! 😊❤️
@@diamondzfromtheroughDIY I use the Wagner Flexio 4000. It’s soooooo easy to use. Highly recommend. It’s a bit of a pricey purchase ($215) but man, sprayers are such a game changer.
@@diamondzfromtheroughDIY 🤣 there is absolutely no way in heck that I would hand paint a crib. Let alone 2. I hand painted a table and 4 chairs once. I quickly learned. Nope. 🤣 good luck with your projects, I’m sure they will come out fabulous. ❤️
Love that sprayer head. Is it a Wagner? I need to pull mine out again. This color combo is just pure happiness. And the drawer liner is a perfect compliment and surprise. Happy to have found you through this playlist. Love a good desk to nightstand transformation!
I love my sprayer, yes it’s Wagner. Sprayers are such a game changer and I don’t think I could ever go back to hand painting. 😂 thanks so much for watching! ❤️
The format of the video is fine. The idea behind the upcycling of a desk into bed side tables is very good, but I am personally not into the execution of it. A desktop is much higher than the average hight of bedside tables, at least in my country. The scale of the upcycled bedside tables seem off. They ended up very narrow, high bedside tables, with deep drawers. Maybe if one has a smaller bedroom with not a lot of space, the narrow bedside tables could work. I personally would trim off at least the top drawer to lower the bedside table, as well as trimming off the depth of the drawers. That is my personal preference. In my area these narrow, high bedside tables will not sell. Generally speaking, bedside tables are the same hight as the matress. Maybe in your area, beds are much higher. Your painting technique is really good and the overall finish turned out nice. In my area, bright colours like yellow does not sell, unless it is a commmissioned piece.
Great job! As a fellow YTuber who edits content too and I like the way you structure your videos. And I like the way you incorporate your music. Where do you source your music from? I just subscribed to your channel. 😊 thanks so much for the input! I have a uppbeat subscription. I pay $6.99 a month but it’s unlimited songs. They offer a free option but you only get to download 3 songs a month which is nothing.
Sorry. The shape is off without the rest of the former desk to balance it out, tall, narrow, and wierd. The drawer pulls. The color. The 2 tone. I really wish people would leave certain pieces alone. You really dont need to be "creative" with every ouece you get. No stars for this one
This is a great transformation!!! Very well done and super fun color!!👏🏻🙌🏻

Thank you so much Andy! Thank you for hosting this challenge, it was a blast as always. 😊
Beautiful finish with the deep yellow!
Thank you! It was a bold choice but it’s good to take a step back from the basic colors. 💛😊

I love seeing all of the steps. I love the paint color & that’s a great find on the hardware. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching! ❤️😊
Oh to dream of one day owning a sprayer. Hopefully soon! These are phenomenal!
Totally a game changer. I hope you get it soon. 😊❤️
Beautiful bold fall color! Such a nice idea to turn the desk into nightstands! Awesome! Good luck with the challenge!

Those turned out great! You are so creative. Can’t wait for the next project.
Thank you. 😊
Beautiful! The only thing that I would have done differently would be to sand down the sharp edges of the new top piece.
❤️
Great job!!

Love the hardware transformation, that was brilliant!
Thanks so much! Gotta save money where you can, hardware can be expensive!
Can learn a lot on TH-cam when you watch the process.
Yes you can. I’ve been watching other TH-camrs for 3 years now and I’m still learning a crazy amount! Thanks for watching. 😊❤️
Nice idea too dark yellow for my taste. Kinda wish you could have made a vanity table with this piece. Will keep watching. Thank you.
Actually, this yellow is a color for 2025. Pretty
It really is a beautiful color. Thanks for watching. 💛
