I'm glad you're in Italy, and I think you'll be delighted in what Palermo, my city, has to offer with abandoned buildings. There is an abandoned chemical plant right next to my house, an abandoned baseball field, illegally built villas on a mountain where people go to make graffiti, a Coca Cola bottling facility that was going to be a multiplex cinema but now is rotting in the middle of town. There are also a lot of other things in the surrounding towns, and the list of urbex sites is way too long to write here.
It's great hearing you talk about yourself because I feel the same way about a lot of things. Much happier on my own and spending my time how I want. Growing up I moved around continuously and I've kind of learned to see friends and relationships as temporary. Haven't had a friend in 2 years at this point and I'm more relaxed about life than ever.
so true, i recently moved far away from where all my friends and connections were and ive learned that being alone is very freeing and almost magical sometimes
Friends have always just brought me drama, problems, and or get into a bad situation etc. Even if they're a goodie goodie. There is always baggage. They want something you have etc. You provide SOMETHING for them in some way, and if you stopped, they would too. People are also extremely rude and just not polite anymore. Someone always ends up saying something that makes me want to beat their a$$. Which I have done before, but nowadays, it's just not worth it anymore. Even my childhood best friend, we get annoyed with eachother if were together too much. So there's usually a large amount of time in between when we talk or actually ever hangout. Also, I'm a firm believer that if you want to achieve success and get your life the way you want it. Having a constant social life is a major distraction from all of that. To me it's just a distraction. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to go party with some people, mostly people you don't know, but when you do that with a crowd you are familiar with. It just isn't fun to me. People get sh*tty and want to act out etc. and your time can just be spent in much better ways. There are people who'd rather party or go clubbing instead of traveling and seeing history with your own eyes. Just seeing a new place. That's more exciting to me and you're going to learn a lot. They say bad things about being money focused but what else are you going to do? Live like a bum? Anyone who says they don't need money to be happy is a LIAR. Yeah, the money itself doesn't make you happy, but what you can do with it, will. Luckily I'm a pretty easily satisfied person so happiness isn't much of an issue for me as long as I have a roof over my head, food to eat, and maybe a little bit of weed to smoke. Yes I have my toys and material possessions but I don't NEED them, even though some do make me very happy. Also living on the water/beach. I couldn't live anywhere else. Has to be coastal.
@@tacticalmattress You have what sounds like a good life dude, and seems you appreciate it. Living on the coast must be nice, I’m currently kinda stuck in a grey city in the UK but like you have a roof, toys, car etc but life is monotonous. Need to spend more time out in nature!

I'm glad to see you checking out Sardinia as it seems that not many people get out there for a visit and it is cool to see your perspective on it... In my experience, the Italians are remarkably relaxed about people checking out abandoned places. I've never had any negative experiences while doing so myself. Your experience of hearing the sheep bells while at the abandoned mine made me laugh as several times when I have been checking out abandoned mines on Sardinia, I have had shepherds and their sheep around me.

It's nice to see you visit and explore my island, see places I know (like Sant'Elia's stadium) and others visible to the eyes of a few. I just wanted to give you a warning that you risked a lot in the countryside. When you hear some sheep-bells it is better to stay as far away as possible, the shepherds here do not take well the strangers of any kind on their land, they can safely think that you are a cattle thief and some may even shoot or unleash their sheepdogs, and if you don't find the shepherds you may find their dogs and I don't know at this point which one is best to find. Probably none of them. You've been lucky the shepherd wasn't around at that time, but if he was you would've risked quite a bit. However, I'm glad you enjoyed what you saw, and I'm glad to be able to see it from your perspective too. I would argue that some people want the exact opposite, and some people get happiness by just having time to themselves and being left alone by society because they don't want to live by society's rules and that's completely okay.
Yeah I feel the same.
This life is temporary to Allah we belong and to Him we return.

The style of this video was phenomenal, it was so cool to see you driving around first person pov, climbing, exploring and also the 1-to-1 personal vibe made it amazing as well. Dope video Shiey!
Man, I live vicariously through your videos. Somehow you capture the vibe perfectly to make me feel like I'm there with you. I hope you never stop making these because this is truly an escape for me.
I've been watching you train surf and go on adventures for over two years now, I hope nothing bad ever happens to you man, you're a treasure
Was good to hear about you’re feeling Shiey, and I’ve learnt to know it’s 100% okay to feel that way. At least know your videos allow us to escape too if even for the briefest of moments. Keep it up and stay safe.
You’ve helped me view life so much differently, just the things you say, the things you show and do for us. It makes me see how there’s so much more to life than the burdens we deal with on a daily basis. Thanks for everything you do
It was around yesterday I was wondering when the next vid would be out or if you had been arrested or something. So happy you're okay and we still get some awesome content. Keep it up shiey. I aspire to be like you when I'm older, I want to travel Europe in a similar way and maybe even the world.
When shiey uploads, there's a certain feeling of relief. Coz you know that he's still alive from doing adventures. Hahahaha
Plein d'émotions, excellent rythme, beaucoup de talent et un immense charme. C'est beau la Sardegna vu de vos yeux.
Wow! That stadium has quite a history, including the 1990 world cup. What an amazing adventure. Thank you for sharing!
After 3 months, THE LEGEND IS BACK!
Shiey I Deal With Mental Health Issues Too And Your Videos Help Me Through It. Your Not Alone Bro & Keep The Videos Coming But Look After Yourself
I missed you so much, Shiey. So happy to see you, hope you're well. 🧡🧡
Why don't you just spare us the fan-girling and go get a hotel room with him, geez.
@@lanamortenson8694 omg, must suck to be this miserable :D
@@lanamortenson8694 calm down
I really like how chill it is, just roaming around and climbing a few things
I hope you're doing alright man.
It's always a treat getting to see new videos from you. One of my absolute favorite things to see in my sub box. Make sure to stay safe out there!
