Sevy's insane Alhaitham luck has reached me as well. I somehow ended up getting LoFI in under 20 pulls. I honestly wanna thank you for making these guides. He's been one of the best pulls for my account, and he's so incredibly fun to play. I've played genshin more this patch than usual, all because of how fun it is to play Alhaitham. I probably wouldn't have pulled him because of all the doomposting during his beta, but I'm so so glad you've convinced me to give him a shot.
The doomposting technically came from the ppl who either didn't know math or didn't bothered to do the math. Anyone who actually used a calculator (or their brains) weren't fazed by the nerfs lawl.

I'm using it on Keqing with an Atk sands and EM circlet, this way it is on par with Jade Cutter,Haran and Mistsplitter as I'm a sword collector and I have them all, good video Sevy keep it up !
Just realised how nuts LOFI is for C6 Kazuha. Given that he’s incentivised to build full EM, the huge CV of the LOFI really synergises well with his kit. You’re likely able to get enough crit and ER from substats alone
The problem with LoFI for Kazuha is that most of his damage is from plunge and burst, even at C6, which it doesn't work on. Mistsplitter is still better for him.
I pulled LoFI just earlier while farming wenut for alhaitham ascensions... I felt so happy since I literally only had enough primos for one pity as I already had to hit pity for al twice, and was dreading pulling a spear I would never use
I'd like to see someone make an updated video ranking ALL the current craftable weapons in the game. Ranking them, what characters they are worthwhile on, and if they deserve refinements.

Thank you for the video, Sevy! Alhaitham + LoFI combo is a beast, I only have 300ish EM on him yet he manages to finish almost all the weekly bosses faster than my other characters already!
I rarely pull on weapon banners (only 4 since 1.3) and I know it’s not as versatile as other weapons, but I have zero regrets pulling it for him. 🙏🏼💕 I saved for months in game just for him and wanted him to have the best. My only other 5* option for him was Aquila so it was a worthwhile risk (especially since it’s been two years and my Xiao still doesn’t have his own BiS😔 one day standard will give me something other than WGS or S. Atlus for weapons)
I relate to this. I only pull for weapons for my most favorite characters like Eula, Alhaitham, Yae, etc. No regrets too because they do deserve the best even if the weapons are relatively niche. I don't really want to take it off them anyway and the rest of my characters can settle with 4 star weapons lol. Also, I hope you get Xiao's weapon soon! ❤
I took an extended break from the game around 2.4 and just came back this patch, did 1-10 pull on Alhaitham's banner and got him. I played him for a bit and decided to pull for his weapon after deciding that I liked him quite a bit. I ended up going to the weapon pity, but all 5*s came early, and i got the PJS, Amos Bow, and finally the Light of Foliar Incision. Considering that I had none of these 5* weapons on the account, i'm very happy with the outcome.
I had almost this exact same crisis. Only have Aquila and Kazuha, and I couldn't let another good banner pass without something. Got screwed on pulls, but LoFi is ready for the next crit-EM-infused monster waiting to be released.
I didn't end up going for LoFi. I just went for C0 Alhaitham and dipped; in a way, I'm happy that he requires so little primo investment since it lets me save primos for later banners (C2 Focalor maybe in 2024?), so I won't have to spend as much for them. I just put my old PJC on him and called it a day. While the weapon is a sizable upgrade over F2P options, its increase over Jade Cutter and Mistsplitter is much more marginal (like less than 10%), so I didn't feel like risking getting the PJWS. Plus, I don't think it's likely for MHY to release another character with ALL of LoFI's way-too-many specs (NA/skill spammer, split stat ATK+EM with heavier emphasis on EM, wants crit, infusion based) anytime soon, so I don't see much future prospect for the weapon currently.
Another awesome video! Love your deep dives. 😊 I really like the LoFI - the passive effect is pretty good, but its sub provides one of the top 3 crit damage weapons not to mention the beautiful design 😍
I was thinking of pulling on this banner for the PJWS, but was hesitant bc I was on the fence about the LoFI (love calling it this honestly :D). This video helped confirm that I am probably better off just pulling on the Homa/Aqua banner and hoping I "lose" to the PJWS or get it from standard later~

I did not get the signature weapon but so far my Jade cutter for Papi Alhaitham gives me 35k~45k Spread damage (with dendro shred, using artifacts 2pc guilded dreams, 2 pcs wanderers - em sands and cup)
LoFI full EM Shatter!Albedo x Chongyun E might go hard as hell, if at least as a meme build for fun. I'll definitely be pulling for this sword for my Traveler once we get a Dendro Candace. It'll be like using a discount Alhaitham, but it's always fun to make Traveler do surprisingly big numbers.
@@Khangst Shatter can be triggered by plunge attacks and Geo damage, the point is to make use of Albedo’s EM buff ascension 4 passive. Shatter might not crit but All other damage Albedo would do definitely does. So ironically, since Albedo doesn’t build attack for his skill and can give himself a free 125 EM after his burst and his normal attacks will be usable. Not only that, Albedo’s skill will gain additional em scaling. It’s a bit of a meme but if you also use Gorou, give albedo 4 piece Petra, you can benefit from Geo reasonance, have a defense buffer, pull in elemental shards that will always be triggered by shatter. You really cover a lot ESPECIALLY if you have a cryo shield which will give the whole party (including infused Albedo) bonus 35% cryo damage making him viable on field. Plus, that em will mean albedo’s shields (that Gorou is constantly pulling to him) is a pool of A LOT of hp and elemental buffs you get for free. It also triggers Geo resonance’s “when shield” damage increase AND is strengthened by Geo resonance-and then there’s the free debuff Geo resonance gives. I’m sure you get my point but LoFI full em Shatter Albedo isn’t bad as you think-it’s a meme but a worthwhile one if you have the characters and weapon.

Anemo travaler with an EM build could use it. His last normal attack is infused, or just use and infuser with him. This will greatly increase his E damage and give his normal attacks some boosting.
And his bis is only 8% better then JC so for me the choice was obvious. Funny that JC looks like his supposed bis and even looked like a sumeru weapon from the beggining to me
And here I am with my Alhaitham currently using the Jade cutter and was aiming to get the PJWS for my triple crowned c0 xiao but got the LoFI instead on my 66th pity. I would be ecstatic if I didn’t have the jade cutter but since I do and already have a set to work with it I was sad when I got LoFI lol. Time to refarm artifacts again 😞😆
The fact Xiao’s banner is up at the same time as Alhaitham really upset me because of the Jade Spear. ITS THE SAME REASON WHY I KEEP GETTING IT OTHER THEN THE WEAPON IM REALLY AIMING FOR
I did pull the Sword for my Ayaka since I use her with C6 Diona, so my freeze team has a bunch of unused em. At least it buffs her more now. And the low atk is compensated with a tenacity + thrilling tales Kokomi. And Kazu for elemental dmg buff of course. Her burst ticks went from 19k (Fully buffed) to 26K
I've actually been pulling for it on two accounts since I have Alhaitham on both and I just want him to have his own sword even if it's not easily transferrable to other characters. On one account so far I've gotten PJWS (which is fine because I also have Xiao, lol) and on the other I got Amos so far (which is kinda meh since I already had one but oh well. Funny thing was a couple free Acquaint Fates netted me a PJWS over there on the standard banner, lol). Anyway, I am kind onesy-twosie wishing at this point since I've emptied myself out of saved primos/fates but I figure I still have a chance to get it before the banner ends and if not...oh well, I tried. I've got no intention on wishing for anything for at least the next couple of banners so I've got enough time to build up some wishes again for a future character. This is actually the first time I've really bothered trying to get anything on the weapon banner. Usually I don't really care. :)
I literally built Candace just so I could use this sword to maximum effect on my Dendro Traveller, and surprisingly, it works pretty dang well when paired with Kuki and another Dendro unit with Deepwood. Is it Met-ah? Well no, not really. I wouldn't use it on Floor 12 of the Abyss, but at the end of the day, that's only one very small part of the game. It's a perfectly viable niche build for me. As for WHY I wanted to use it so badly on my Traveller... It just looks really damn good on him.
Psst, if anyone is watching this during current Lofi's banner, anemo and geo traveler can proc the swords effect via that one talent that gives their combos final hit an elemental dmg proc (that damage counts as normal attack and will activate the swords passive), so it could kina work on an EM anemo traveler whose held E does a bunch of hits

I wanted to pull for LoFI for AlHaitham but I just don't want to risk it... since I don't want PJWS. I'll just wait for LoFI to rerun with a better limited 5-star weapon that I'd also be fine getting.
I pulled LoFi specifically for one case NOT mentioned in this video- Burgeon Bennet- we need very fast hydro anyway (Xinqui), so this is also naturally a Vaporize build, but with incentive to build more EM, with either double hydro or something electro/cryo to reduce burning and help increase blooms
I made two wishes on the weapons banner and got it. But still no Alhaitham. So Keqing is using it to good effect, although I'm not sure if it's any better than the Black sword she was using. It does look cool and hopefully I pull Alhaitham soon, I'm at 75 pity. Great info, thanks for sharing!

Great video. I'm going to wait and see what weapon is pared with Ayaka's upcoming banner in 3.6 (?). It's not a big downgrade for Alhaitham and is a better all around option for other characters.
I was about to pull this weapon for my Ayaka the moment i saw the crit dmg and the infusion gimmick, Im not really good with computing em mechanics though, now I know that this weapon wont do any good for her and I already have 200% crit dmg on her so I guess more than that is overkill. Thanks for this in-depth video, I'll just save my primos on Shenhe rerun or the mistsplitter since im still on amenoma.

Lost Freedom Sworn to this thing. Oh well, it's still a crit stat stick so I guess I can't complain too much. Xingqiu will enjoy it, even without C6 Bennett he'll still dish out a lot of burst damage (and I do have C6 Bennett so the passive won't be useless).
Got it on my 2nd account for Ayaka as I envisioned it'd look good on her with the new outfit. I was wrong and it's still weaker than her Mistsplitter so now it's slapped onto my Lumine. Now I have nobody to use the Jade Cutter (˵•̀⤙•́˵)

I'm struggle pulling on the weapon banner at the moment to try to get this for my boy. I failed the first 50/50 and got a new Amos, so I can R2 that I guess. I definitely don't need the weapon. I have Haran and Mistsplitter but Alhaitham is one of my favourite characters they've ever released so if I don't get lucky on my pulling, I might be tempted to pay for this one as one off.
I thought about pulling this weapon, but one of the driving factors that helps me curb my urge to spend needlessly on weapon banners is aesthetics. If a weapon doesn't match the color scheme of a character I actually use, I generally skip it. I already have Haran in my weapon roster, so I don't really need LoFI, no matter how attractive the buffs look. I love infusion NA characters a lot, but I'll have to pass on this one.
I am saving up wishes for yelan, but I have enough to get the 50/50 shot at her and was bored so decided to throw a couple of my spare intertwined into the weapon banner for the memes (and for sac bow and widsith) and ended up getting this. a pleasant surprise, as I was on extremely little pity.
So the weapon is super niche only a handful of characters can use it and it's definitely specifically good for Al. I had a feeling that it was only gonna be specifically good for him and very useful for only a handful of characters which is a very small number but I like the name that you gave the sword. Even if my 1st thought when I heard the name is wait that's not an alien girl who dresses in overalls and likes to paint and is a princess and is Indonesian lol. Regardless very good look at Al's canon sword Sevy!

Shouldn't Traveler's Anemo and Geo versions make use of it's EM increase? Since apparently the last hit on those elements counts as Elemental DMG off Normal Attacks. They can make full use of Mistsplitter's passive in those elements because I used to use Mistsplitter on Lumine's Geo make her a hard hitting build so I'm sure they can activate the ability but not be able to reach the maximum amount of the 28 hits.
I prepped artifacts for Alhaitham before his banner, so I knew my build already had a ton of crit damage in it and was low on crit rate, so I pulled Haran Gepaku Futsu for him instead. LoFI is Alhaitham's best-in-slot, but for me it would've left him with severely imbalanced stats, or just rolling artifacts for 500 years. (Plus Haran was running with Engulfing Lightning, which I'd have rather gotten spooked by than PJWS, based on the characters I run in my main teams. XD)
Many signature weapon have it's alternate 5* or even 4* weapon with relatively small damage gap. I think one of the best pull value weapon is redhorn (especially for Itto/Noelle), huge damage gap from whiteblind, no need to stack passive. Then again, I realize we have less 5 star claymore user than other weapon.

Well... Liyue is made in early days... All our complains Mihoyo takes in after the game was released, and that's when Liyue finished

That's common in a lot of early stage gacha games. Things get more complex as they test the waters to see what's suitable.

Its worth mentioning that when Kazuha c2 uses his Q, all the chars inside the burst get 200em, that means more na dmg
Alhaitham, C2 Kazuha C0/C2 Nahida and Electro for Spread. I think that team melts anything the abyss can throw at one.

LoFI full EM Shatter!Albedo x Chongyun E might go hard as hell, if at least as a meme build for fun. I'll definitely be pulling for this sword for my Traveler once we get a Dendro Candace. It'll be like using a discount Alhaitham, but it's always fun to make Traveler do surprisingly big numbers.
This does nothing for shatter dmg. Shatter doesnt crit
It also doesnt scale with atk. Only level, em, and physical resistance shred
@@Khangst Shatter can be triggered by plunge attacks and Geo damage, the point is to make use of Albedo’s EM buff ascension 4 passive. Shatter might not crit but All other damage Albedo would do definitely does. So ironically, since Albedo doesn’t build attack for his skill and can give himself a free 125 EM after his burst and his normal attacks will be usable. Not only that, Albedo’s skill will gain additional em scaling.
It’s a bit of a meme but if you also use Gorou, give albedo 4 piece Petra, you can benefit from Geo reasonance, have a defense buffer, pull in elemental shards that will always be triggered by shatter. You really cover a lot ESPECIALLY if you have a cryo shield which will give the whole party (including infused Albedo) bonus 35% cryo damage making him viable on field. Plus, that em will mean albedo’s shields (that Gorou is constantly pulling to him) is a pool of A LOT of hp and elemental buffs you get for free. It also triggers Geo resonance’s “when shield” damage increase AND is strengthened by Geo resonance-and then there’s the free debuff Geo resonance gives. I’m sure you get my point but LoFI full em Shatter Albedo isn’t bad as you think-it’s a meme but a worthwhile one if you have the characters and weapon.

Anemo travaler with an EM build could use it. His last normal attack is infused, or just use and infuser with him. This will greatly increase his E damage and give his normal attacks some boosting.

Imo it comes as a close second-best for Haitham. Haitham does enjoy HP with his high vulnerability to damage.

And his bis is only 8% better then JC so for me the choice was obvious. Funny that JC looks like his supposed bis and even looked like a sumeru weapon from the beggining to me
And here I am with my Alhaitham currently using the Jade cutter and was aiming to get the PJWS for my triple crowned c0 xiao but got the LoFI instead on my 66th pity. I would be ecstatic if I didn’t have the jade cutter but since I do and already have a set to work with it I was sad when I got LoFI lol. Time to refarm artifacts again 😞😆

The fact Xiao’s banner is up at the same time as Alhaitham really upset me because of the Jade Spear. ITS THE SAME REASON WHY I KEEP GETTING IT OTHER THEN THE WEAPON IM REALLY AIMING FOR
I did pull the Sword for my Ayaka since I use her with C6 Diona, so my freeze team has a bunch of unused em. At least it buffs her more now. And the low atk is compensated with a tenacity + thrilling tales Kokomi. And Kazu for elemental dmg buff of course. Her burst ticks went from 19k (Fully buffed) to 26K

I've actually been pulling for it on two accounts since I have Alhaitham on both and I just want him to have his own sword even if it's not easily transferrable to other characters. On one account so far I've gotten PJWS (which is fine because I also have Xiao, lol) and on the other I got Amos so far (which is kinda meh since I already had one but oh well. Funny thing was a couple free Acquaint Fates netted me a PJWS over there on the standard banner, lol). Anyway, I am kind onesy-twosie wishing at this point since I've emptied myself out of saved primos/fates but I figure I still have a chance to get it before the banner ends and if not...oh well, I tried. I've got no intention on wishing for anything for at least the next couple of banners so I've got enough time to build up some wishes again for a future character.
This is actually the first time I've really bothered trying to get anything on the weapon banner. Usually I don't really care. :)
I literally built Candace just so I could use this sword to maximum effect on my Dendro Traveller, and surprisingly, it works pretty dang well when paired with Kuki and another Dendro unit with Deepwood. Is it Met-ah? Well no, not really. I wouldn't use it on Floor 12 of the Abyss, but at the end of the day, that's only one very small part of the game. It's a perfectly viable niche build for me. As for WHY I wanted to use it so badly on my Traveller... It just looks really damn good on him.
Psst, if anyone is watching this during current Lofi's banner, anemo and geo traveler can proc the swords effect via that one talent that gives their combos final hit an elemental dmg proc (that damage counts as normal attack and will activate the swords passive), so it could kina work on an EM anemo traveler whose held E does a bunch of hits
Bloom/Overload Shinobu is actually pretty good, and gives Candace an excuse to go into the team.

I pulled LoFi specifically for one case NOT mentioned in this video- Burgeon Bennet- we need very fast hydro anyway (Xinqui), so this is also naturally a Vaporize build, but with incentive to build more EM, with either double hydro or something electro/cryo to reduce burning and help increase blooms

I made two wishes on the weapons banner and got it. But still no Alhaitham. So Keqing is using it to good effect, although I'm not sure if it's any better than the Black sword she was using. It does look cool and hopefully I pull Alhaitham soon, I'm at 75 pity. Great info, thanks for sharing!

I'm going to wait and see what weapon is pared with Ayaka's upcoming banner in 3.6 (?). It's not a big downgrade for Alhaitham and is a better all around option for other characters.

I was about to pull this weapon for my Ayaka the moment i saw the crit dmg and the infusion gimmick, Im not really good with computing em mechanics though, now I know that this weapon wont do any good for her and I already have 200% crit dmg on her so I guess more than that is overkill. Thanks for this in-depth video, I'll just save my primos on Shenhe rerun or the mistsplitter since im still on amenoma.

Lost Freedom Sworn to this thing. Oh well, it's still a crit stat stick so I guess I can't complain too much. Xingqiu will enjoy it, even without C6 Bennett he'll still dish out a lot of burst damage (and I do have C6 Bennett so the passive won't be useless).

I'm struggle pulling on the weapon banner at the moment to try to get this for my boy. I failed the first 50/50 and got a new Amos, so I can R2 that I guess. I definitely don't need the weapon. I have Haran and Mistsplitter but Alhaitham is one of my favourite characters they've ever released so if I don't get lucky on my pulling, I might be tempted to pay for this one as one off.
I thought about pulling this weapon, but one of the driving factors that helps me curb my urge to spend needlessly on weapon banners is aesthetics. If a weapon doesn't match the color scheme of a character I actually use, I generally skip it. I already have Haran in my weapon roster, so I don't really need LoFI, no matter how attractive the buffs look. I love infusion NA characters a lot, but I'll have to pass on this one.

I am saving up wishes for yelan, but I have enough to get the 50/50 shot at her and was bored so decided to throw a couple of my spare intertwined into the weapon banner for the memes (and for sac bow and widsith) and ended up getting this. a pleasant surprise, as I was on extremely little pity.
So the weapon is super niche only a handful of characters can use it and it's definitely specifically good for Al. I had a feeling that it was only gonna be specifically good for him and very useful for only a handful of characters which is a very small number but I like the name that you gave the sword. Even if my 1st thought when I heard the name is wait that's not an alien girl who dresses in overalls and likes to paint and is a princess and is Indonesian lol. Regardless very good look at Al's canon sword Sevy!

Got it on my c0 Kazuha for a melt build with Benny, Chongyun and Shenhe... its a really fun team.
I was pulling for Widsith, but I pulled this "FOLI" under 10 pulls, luckily I have Alhaitham.
I did 1 twn pull... I got it and Jade on same ten pull.Pity was at fifty something I'm still shaking...My Keqw has jade cutter already so Since dendro daddy came home I'm glad I dont have to make a tough choice XD. Good liluck everyone!

Shouldn't Traveler's Anemo and Geo versions make use of it's EM increase? Since apparently the last hit on those elements counts as Elemental DMG off Normal Attacks.
They can make full use of Mistsplitter's passive in those elements because I used to use Mistsplitter on Lumine's Geo make her a hard hitting build so I'm sure they can activate the ability but not be able to reach the maximum amount of the 28 hits.
I prepped artifacts for Alhaitham before his banner, so I knew my build already had a ton of crit damage in it and was low on crit rate, so I pulled Haran Gepaku Futsu for him instead. LoFI is Alhaitham's best-in-slot, but for me it would've left him with severely imbalanced stats, or just rolling artifacts for 500 years. (Plus Haran was running with Engulfing Lightning, which I'd have rather gotten spooked by than PJWS, based on the characters I run in my main teams. XD)

Many signature weapon have it's alternate 5* or even 4* weapon with relatively small damage gap. I think one of the best pull value weapon is redhorn (especially for Itto/Noelle), huge damage gap from whiteblind, no need to stack passive. Then again, I realize we have less 5 star claymore user than other weapon.
