This is very kewl for off grid. Add a basement for mechanical space and storage. Battery storage that won't need temperature conditioning. Radiant floor heat, concrete counter tops in kitchen possibly add heat to counter top for bread baking. More of a farm house look. Use the second floor doors to provide a weather friendly view and access to a second floor deck.
