An interesting home to be sure. There is only one thing missing, and that is easily remedied. The verandah off the kitchen can wrap around in front of what is now the study area. Turn the study into a proper entrance hall, the stairs to the verandah in line with it, partition the area and include some seating and storage for outdoor footwear and outer clothing, and you have a winning design. This house has no sense of arrival, of welcome. You are out and then you are in. No matter where in the world you are located it is going to rain. Having somewhere for wet clothing is a must. Also, guests enter into a welcoming, cozy area then step through and into the beautiful living room as the space opens. The rest is lovely as it is.
Gorgeous layout but would have more room with triple wide 40's & exterior acess for kids rooms are a big no no PS Most barbeques have to be out from under the wood framing & away from the building ;)
