I made this cake right after I saw the video, I followed the instructions perfectly. When the cake was done I let it cool and I frosted it with the whipped cream I added a tiny bit of stevia to the whip cream. My first bite was oh no this tastes so eggy, of course it's going to taste like egg, it has eight eggs in it. I decided I was going to have to choke it down because I wasn't going to waste 8 eggs. I put it in the refrigerator and decided to have it for breakfast the next morning. To my surprise it was absolutely delicious cold and didn't really taste that eggy at all. This is definitely going to be my go-to when I want a desert. Thank you so much for the recipe.

I made this cake for my 2nd Carniversary! For sweetness, I sprinkled 1/2 to 1 teaspoon a glycine onto each slice. It was great, but it was quite a journey. Here's what happened. Because I used small 20cm cake tins, this recipe filled both tins, so that I did not have to double the recipe. Unfortunately, after I took the first one out of the oven after 25 minutes (preheated oven temp. 150°C) and turned it over onto a cooling rack, I noticed that the middle of the underside was runny. So, I put it back into the baking tin and baked it for another 10-15 minutes after raising the temperature to 180°. The raising of the temperature and all of the messing about probably contributed to it not being as light and airy as it should have been, but after both layers of cake had cooled, I frosted them with the whipped cream and put the now frosted layer cake in the fridge to eat on my Carniversary the next day (I just assumed it would taste better on day 2). After cutting away the eggy, omelette-like bottom part of that problem layer, it tasted really nice, a bit like a twice-baked soufflé. I ate the part that I had cut away, but just on its own. Anyway, next time, I will just bake it for about 40-45 minutes at 150°C. My oven is 30 years old, so that may have had some influence on the timing. Because even water tastes sweet to me, I expected the cake to taste sweet. However, though it had a hint of sweetness, the salt in the cream cheese took over. So, I sprinkled some glycine on for sweetness. I am no fan of cooking or baking, but baking this cake once a year for my Carniversary is great!
I haven’t read through the comments, and I’m sure someone has already said it by now, but, for the frosting, one thing you could have done, would be to mix in a stick of unsalted, softened, room temperature butter, after the creme is whipped stiff. Or even just a half a stick, whatever you like. The butter makes the frosting a little more temperature stable, so it doesn’t get runny so fast if you’re not serving immediately, and in my opinion, butter is always a plus. ❤ P.S. THANK YOU! If you whip the HC w/ some softened cream cheese & some butter, you'll get a great consistency that won't "melt" and is very like a traditional carrot cake frosting. As a carnivore, you can use glycine powder for sweetening, if you like. I'd also add a splash of no alcohol, pure vanilla extract.

Love hearing you/y’all play the piano. Thank you for coming into my life. ❤️ I am in a different life experience now thanks to you and the other carnivore coaches. Been 95% carnivore or more for 30 days now.
I have made this cake many times for special occasions and have always enjoyed the results. I make it in a springform pan with parchment paper underneath and just do one layer. I have made it plain as well as with vanilla and a little stevia when it’s for guests. Everyone is very surprised by how yummy and light it is. It reminds me of a soufflé. I would follow Bella’s suggestion to use a low salt cream cheese. I add a few berries on the side for non-carnivore guests. And I will consider the honey drizzle for guests as well. I have been a serious carnivore now for 2.5 years but if I have a little honey on this one cake for the first time ever I won’t freak out. I am pretty sure my ancestors would have eaten some honey if they ever had the chance.
Wow, you're a pianist! I wondered why are you so clear in thoughts to presenting all: your brain get much Bach, Beethoven, Finger Aerobics...so...I KNOW! I' m too. Veeeery expresive played for us! Thanks for all your videos! I descovered you just for one month. (Europe here ;-) )
Omg this looks so good. I’m keto/low carb generally but I always end up eating carnivore when I’m feeling sick because keto replacements turn my stomach when I’m not feeling well. I’ve been thinking about intentionally including a carnivore cycle, the loophole allowing a small amount of honey on carnivore just seals the deal. I miss honey so much, especially when I’m feeling ill
One of the reasons carnivore is extraordinarily healing is because it is zero carb and so induces frequent autophagy. For that reason I would say honey is not carnivore but “animal based.”
I had to add a teaspoon of vanilla, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 3 tablespoons of monk fruit to make it have flavor. Also, don't just pile the whole amount into an 8" pan. I baked for an additional 15 minutes and the center was still liquid. If I make again, I will spread it out in a 9 x 13 pan.
I’m not carnivore, I eat a little fruit and veggies and yogurt. I like to use monkfruit and stevia and I definitely eat cocao, so I’m going to do this with some lemon zest and a monkfruit/stevia sweetener. I can definitely understand how it would taste sweet to you, my palette is a LOT different than just whole foodies. I’ve leveled up😅👀and thank you, I just subbed!
Happy Birthday young man. 🎂🎉 Love hearing you both play piano. Amazing. Health, peace, harmony and success for both of you always. Now I'm going to try out this fabulous recipe. Thank you. 😘💝
Thank you for your creativity I got diagnosed with a lot of food intolerances. The main being gluten and sugar. I found carnivore to be the best diet for me but it dose get boring but this cake looked delicious can’t wait to try it.
I also have a hard time with the “boringness” of carnivore. For me, food is more than food, it’s entertainment, an experience! I miss Chinese food, Mexican food, Italian food… Sometimes carnivore just makes me feel like a dog feeding on chow. I miss the food experience. I’m looking into more interesting recipes to shake things up. My friend said she takes chicken tenderloins, and wraps them in bacon before baking, grilling, or air frying. I think that sounds good.
Thank you so much! I've been stressing about my infant's first cake. Do I make a smash cake and not let him try it? Do I just give in and let him have bread? This was the solution I was looking for! Thank you!
Oh my this is fantastic thank you so much. I think I might want to make some whipped brown butter as my icing with this or mix the with brown butter with the whipped cream.
Happy Birthday to your brother!! I will try the recipe. Looks delicious. You are awesome, thanks for all you do. I love listening to you both play piano. So relaxing. I could fall asleep to your beautiful music. God bless you ❤
I have made your egg pudding, which is wonderful! I sometimes put just a few drops of real maple syrup as a treat. Honey is the same in my mind, small amounts occasionally as a treat works for me.
I will probably add some stevia or allulose/monk fruit mix, cause I still like sweet, and I can't have the carbs with honey. But it looks amazing! My birthday is coming in 2.5 weeks, I am totally making this!
I’m trying to start this but it’s difficult because I’m not very crazy about meat 😢 I’m SO happy to see this recipe. I will definitely be making this recipe and probably adding vanilla extract and allulose or xylitol and eat it cold. The piano was a wonderful surprise especially since it’s my favorite instrument. VERY well done thank you and hearty applause 😊
I wiuld take out all those white gooie stuff on the egg whites it makes the eggs fresh and yes i dont mind using lemon juice as a flavouring and yes it looks yum will try someday soon. Thanks.
I love this and will be making it very soon as a treat for when our daughter and husband return for a visit from overseas. I adore your music. Please play the violin for us 💙

My favorite part of the video: piano ending! 🙌🏻
its amazed me every time how talented both of you are! and, you make such a beautiful couple
Thanks for the video! I made it last night. I followed the instructions and it came out great!
I have been waiting since October to make this for my Birthday on Thursday! Will bring some level of joy to turning 67 haha
Happy birthday Ronda! ❤️ 67 years young, I really hope you enjoy it. Best!
(Europe here ;-) )
Wow. I made this today and was very impressed!! It’s the first time anything whipped egg white based has been edible for me. I’m so excited!!
Amazing! You can also add some lemon or lime zest or pure vanilla beans ( straight from the pod) for extra flavor.
Agreed!!
Not t because of that !! the dairy has sugar and very high as well
Some vegans argue that honey is an "animal based food source"
Happy you used honey because it is made by a living creature..❤
@@samhassan82Heavy cream has no sugar, and no carbs….
Thank you for your piano outro. You are both the genuine articles. AND I Really appreciate the cake recipe!
One layer is plenty. Yummmmmm
How does this not just taste like an omelette?
Its because this is basically just fluffy cheese cake
I had to add a teaspoon of vanilla, 1/4 teaspoon salt and 3 tablespoons of monk fruit to make it have flavor. Also, don't just pile the whole amount into an 8" pan. I baked for an additional 15 minutes and the center was still liquid. If I make again, I will spread it out in a 9 x 13 pan.
Magic hehehehe
My thoughts exactly.....it's giving omelet...
I came here to say this is just scrambled eggs😭
First time making a cake, yet you had a professional lazy-susan pedestal! Impressive!
Thank you for not only showing us your yummy Carnivore Creamy Cake but for also treating us to a beautiful piano duo, that was so amazing ❤ 😊
I loved this !! That looks so delicious!! Thank you So much for this amazing tutorial!!!😍🥰
thanks for the piano interval
!
Beautiful playing.
Might give the cake a try , why not.
I miss Chinese food, Mexican food, Italian food…
Sometimes carnivore just makes me feel like a dog feeding on chow.
I miss the food experience.
I’m looking into more interesting recipes to shake things up.
My friend said she takes chicken tenderloins, and wraps them in bacon before baking, grilling, or air frying. I think that sounds good.
Can also use parchment paper cut to shape.
Wow! This looks like a fun one to try with my daughters! 😋
Thank you Bella! ❤
You two cracked me up with your restaurant scene 😂 👏
Love you Miss E! Hope to see you soon❤❤
Beautiful piano playing
Thank you so much! I've been stressing about my infant's first cake.
Do I make a smash cake and not let him try it? Do I just give in and let him have bread?
This was the solution I was looking for! Thank you!
That’s it I’m trying it
Kelly Hogan is an amazing person! I'm so glad you two know each other!! 2 of my go-to carnivore women. I LOVE the song you & SaBGuy played for us 😍🥰
Oh my this is fantastic thank you so much.
I think I might want to make some whipped brown butter as my icing with this or mix the with brown butter with the whipped cream.
I've make Kelly's Oopsie Cake numerous times. I love it.
Happy Birthday to your brother!! I will try the recipe. Looks delicious. You are awesome, thanks for all you do. I love listening to you both play piano. So relaxing. I could fall asleep to your beautiful music. God bless you ❤
I can’t believe you went from vegan 🌱 to carnivore 🦁 diet.
I’m just a regular omnivore person…,😅😊😅😊😅❤❤❤
we just made the cake today and it is awesome. I feel slightly guilty like I'm cheating!!!! So good!
I couldn't finish the video because of hearing the wet smacking noises from the eating but the recipe looks great! Can't wait to try it out!
misophonia, I know it well. Mute is your friend!
I think some people have gotten rid of their misophonia with carnivore.
I absolutely love how you show all your receipts. I’m very visual learner and you are the best. I can’t wait to meet you this weekend in Austin, Tx 😊
I have made your egg pudding, which is wonderful! I sometimes put just a few drops of real maple syrup as a treat. Honey is the same in my mind, small amounts occasionally as a treat works for me.
I could watch and listen y’all playing for awhile. I love it.
I am not on carnivore, but I would be happy to try this cake
I will probably add some stevia or allulose/monk fruit mix, cause I still like sweet, and I can't have the carbs with honey. But it looks amazing! My birthday is coming in 2.5 weeks, I am totally making this!
Allulose lowers blood sugar
I was thinking about doing the same thing.
Thank you for a delicious looking recipe. Love watching and listening to you both playing the piano.
You’re so welcome and I really hope you enjoy the cake. And we’ll keep up the music too ❤️
I’m trying to start this but it’s difficult because I’m not very crazy about meat 😢
I’m SO happy to see this recipe. I will definitely be making this recipe and probably adding vanilla extract and allulose or xylitol and eat it cold.
The piano was a wonderful surprise especially since it’s my favorite instrument. VERY well done thank you and hearty applause 😊
You guys are so cute. I enjoy watching you and your pup as much as the recipes. ❤❤
I wiuld take out all those white gooie stuff on the egg whites it makes the eggs fresh and yes i dont mind using lemon juice as a flavouring and yes it looks yum will try someday soon. Thanks.
Looking forward to making this for my husband for Father's day. Thank you!
I love this and will be making it very soon as a treat for when our daughter and husband return for a visit from overseas. I adore your music. Please play the violin for us 💙
Thank you for this !
It’s good to have in ones tool box when celebrating birthdays while visiting fam !
Love your piano treats as well!! Beautiful!
I have a friend who is doing an almost carnivore diet and one who is doing the diet. I am going to try this out for them. Thanks!❤
Odd I came across this today. My daughter’s birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks. I think she would love to learn about a treat she can also fix for her kid’s birthday 🎂
Im I the only 1 wondering where the sweetener(s) would make an appearance...? Cakes r sweet but I only saw eggs, cream cheese, milk... This is pretty similar to the base for Angelfood Cake too! I made 1 from scratch for a bday surprise and It was a smash hit!
Thanks for sharing❤
You guys are a hoot 😂
Happy 16th bday little brother 💙
