What brand is the pan you use? When you stir fry everything just slides around so easily, I like that. My pans seem to stick even when using Pam cooking spray.
I have made two recipes so far. His steps are easy to follow and the results are amazing! I served the Bulgogi ground beef to a 12 year old who never had much anything Asian before and she absolutely loved it! Thank you Aaron!
I made the Mongolian ground beef today and it was great. My husband was stunned by it, and then i had my dad come by to try it and he inhaled it like a stoned hoover. You're my go-to for flavorful meals, Aaron. You never disappoint 👏
Your TH-cam channel is so amazing and it’s I think the juxtaposition of the two characters here who present one of the funny clever, quick chef, who just abused confidence and inspires all of us and then we have this gorgeous, slender woman, who tries everything and makes the best food descriptions I think I’ve ever heard in my life. And so honest and actually kind of slightly dangerous in a very cute way. Overall an excellent presentation and really inspires me to try the recipes and they are amazing in themselves. Also I’m investing in green onions stocks.
If you ever come to Australia, my husband will make you the absolute perfect soft egg yolk, poached, boiled or fried. He is a master when it comes to soft yolks. Perfection, every single time. It's why I married him! Sadly, it won't be with rice, because he hates rice. I love rice, so I can put his perfect eggs on rice! Yet another amazing video, which now makes it hard which one to have for dinner tonight! Thank you!
I always lol forward to dishes like these healthy but quick. Also give me an excuse to go to my international farmers market. Keep up the amazing work!
Thai basil beef tonight with prik nam pla!! These are all great looking simple recipes, thanks Aaron. As usual Claire's reactions and suggestions are priceless. Gotta' love Claire!! 💓
For me I find making Asian food is a lot more simple than American a lot of times, excluding fine dining, that's always a nightmare in every country. lol Home cooking though, between you and Linna in Japan, I'm finding I'm keeping staples in my house, mostly sauces and broth concentrates. lol I loved your book by the way, husband got it for me for our anniversary. (He secretly wanted the gochujang chickens wings XD) I'm hoping you'll come with another book in the future, I will definitely buy it!
"All you need are these five ingredients. That's it. It doesn't require a lot of ingredients." - Aaron {commences to list off an additional nine ingredients for the sauce.} lol (love you guys) ;b
Tip for anyone that may find it useful: if regular eggs aren’t safe to eat raw, you can replace the raw egg yolk with a pasteurised one instead. Where I live you can buy both pasteurised whole eggs and yolk in small containers. These are safe to eat raw :)
@@javi5810 over easy eggs are cooked but with a runny yolk. They aren’t raw. I’m talking right out of the shell raw. Where I’m from you can technically eat raw eggs, but most people would tell you not to do so, just to be safe. In some places you cannot eat the eggs raw at all. My comment here was an alternative to raw yolk. You can ofc add a cooked egg instead, but if you wanna have just the yolk like Aaron did, then pasteurised is an option I’d recommend. That’s all
Hey I have a question. I recently found out that I'm gluten intolerant. I have found gluten free options in oyster sauce and soy sauce but can you tell me the difference? Also really appreciate the dishes you show us that I can easy make gf with them! Thanks so much!
I just made a dish based off your cooking videos I was wondering if you could help me improve it. (I just found your channel so I haven’t watched everything.) I made a sauce with mirin, light and dark soy sauce, korean chili paste, garlic, ginger paste, sesame oil, white and green onions, some horseradish paste, and some oyster sauce. I then made ground beef seasoned with a little msg then used the frying pan to cook out the alcohol in the sauce then added day old rice and the ground beef. I didn’t measure anything and it was pretty good. Just wondering if someone that knows what they are doing makes this if they could make it great.
the only thing about Asian food is finding the ingredients. Most are very easy, specially if you go to Asian market but, the one I have the most difficultly in finding is for dishes from Indonesia. This is not good since my wife is from there, toughest to find is candle nut. Even trying to find tempeh is hard.
Holy Basil? If I pray over other types of Basil will that work? 😂 Holely Basil? I didn't see any holes in the basil? 🤣 Ok...I am done...Sorry, couldn't help myself. 🤣🤣🤣 🤣
Hi Aaron and Claire, love your videos. Just wanted to let you know that the recipe links are flagged by my malware, saying that you have trojans. This is the first time this happend when using your recipe links.
Has anyone realized yet that when arron talks to us he sounds like he has an IQ of 50 but when he calls for Claire he sounds like he has the IQ of 500? This is known as playing the fool.

Aaron so often calls his recipes "life changing" or "the best you've ever had..!" You know, so far he has not been wrong. 🙂

Claire is right, I do love egg yolk, but a poached egg would be wonderful on that.

Egg yolks are always fine to eat raw when you eat over easy eggs you aren’t even cooking the yolk or barely at all

People are afraid to eat raw eggs but they’ll happily eat mayonnaise, it makes no sense.
@@necrogenesis1981 I’m guessing it goes through a process that makes it more safe, maybe? Idk man. Never thought about it before. Good point

I the egg yolk a marinated egg yolk or just a raw egg yolk?

For the Soboro Don, if I am using tofu, should I crumble it?
Yes! Use firm tofu, pat dry with some paper towels, and break into little pieces like ground meat! Still gonna be fantastic, don’t worry! 😁

The people who are afraid of raw egg yolk are ironically the same people who eat mayonnaise.
Does the 15 minutes include the prep? 😂
Bread seems like more work to me.

Can I use Fish sauce if I run out of oyster sauce? Would I use the same amount?
Thanking you in advance. 😋 🥢🥢🍜
If you run out of oyster sauce, I’d recommend using soy sauce instead of fish sauce and yes, use the same amount! 😊
