Being An NS Owner, I Can Say... NS Is Fastest, Tallest And Powerful Amongst Others 🔥🔥🔥... But Yes, At The Same Time, NS Needs To Be Updated Not Only The Paint Scheme But Also In Terms Of Features... Apache... 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

I own a Bajaj RS200, and when I'm on the road I hardly care about Bluetooth or drive modes. When I ride it, I feel one with the bike and it makes me feel like a superbike racer. It's got a proper sports bike frame, looks like a very expensive superbike and has proper racing bike design that makes jaws drop. I wanted a bike that doesn't have commuter bike genes at all, and the RS200 has exceeded my expectations. I'm also over 6-feet tall with heavy size, and it's jus amazing.

Hornet seems suitable for me...i don't ride very aggressively and need a fuel efficient commuter that is relatively quick and will be reliable. I also really like the apache but it has too much technology on it that will break after a couple of years and the fuel efficiency is also 10kmpl lower.

    • @somersault5593
      @somersault5593 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@somersault5593 I know that the Apache has durable mechanicals.
What turns me off are all the unnecessary electronic gimicks on it like the riding modes and Bluetooth and all that. Those things will stop working for sure within 3-4 years and I'm not sure how it is to repair or replace.
Most modern bikes have these features nowadays but I prefer basic instruments.
The hornet seems better because it has 95% of the acceleration and refiment of the Apache but 25% more fuel efficiency. Also the lower weight would be a boon for city traffic which is 60-70% of my usage. It's also a simple engine design..not liquid cooled like the pulsar. It's not the bike for everyone but it ticks all the boxes for me.

after 2 years of useage of both the bikes coverd 30 k kilometres
iam faced many problems in ns200
headlights switches mnay parts chnged more than 2-3 times with the interval of 2 years
but on come with rtr only changed chain sporket of 20 k kilometres
and doesn't change any one of the other parts even though
very value for money one and only rtr200
in come with ns200 its has more speed and 1 gears than rtr but its very vibrated, non durable parts
so today iam sold ns 200

Exactly, hornet 2.0 doesn't deserve to be in this comparison, just giving upside down forks and increasing 20cc and raising the price to a proper 200cc bike, ullu samjha hai kya Honda ne hume. TVS has done so much for that same price, this is a no brainer, but that rider triangle in RTRs, I don't like it.

Hornet looks much better with its usd forks. And I can clearly see hornet has better in gear acceleration 1:23, meaning its more suitable for city rides. But the suspension is something you can call pretty stiff. I would really like softer suspension. But again it has the lowest seat height. And Honda engines may not be most powerful but they are more heavyduty. Only thing stopping me from buying Hornet is the stiff suspension. Because I'm used to honda unicorn, it has the most comfortable mono suspension I have ever experienced.

Nothing beats NS200 apart from Duke 200......NS has got right at your face power.....that's what I want on road.....not Bluetooth or led lights to stare at....pure riding feel can be provided by only NS200

It used to in bs4 era but the price has gone up significantly in bs6 era and now it competes directly to its 250cc rivals in pricing as well.

The hornet 2.0 is definitely overpriced when we pit it against the rtr and the ns but the Japanese manufacturers have a habit of pricing their bikes at a premium. Take for example the Suzuki Gixxer 155 it is priced in my state at around 122000 approx ex showroom and for those who are looking for a sporty commuter the hornet packs in a bigger engine , more power, more torque all LEDs fatter tyres , USD forks and if i say a slightly better pillion seat and lastly Honda's vast service network . In that case it justifies the increase of 12k over the Gixxer but not if we put it against the 200s . So yes its just a matter of perspective when we look into the prices.

20bhp do not need those funny riding modes in rtr..Ns is the real king of segment and challenging with quarter thousand CC engine also..

RTR 200 4v is an awesome bike except feeble rear brakes, sudden stalling of engine (bs6 issue as mentioned by the serv centre) & disgusting after sale support/ service centre experience (atleast in and around Kolkata). I own this bike.
