    You can add the items you dont want your limpets to pick up the the ignore list , just highlight the items in your contact list and select ignore.

    You should include, that in the power play 2.0, you collect the life pods this way but then you have to turn them into a power contact "within the same system". This will give you merits from your pledge and will allow you to complete the objective.

    I just was starting to check out how to find escape pods in ED. And this video was the first yt showed me BEFORE I started to write anything in the search engine. Spooky! Thank you for the video ans thanks to the algorithm of yt.

    If you have a bounty hunting ship capable of killing bandits, you will produce more escape pods in a "Resource Site (Low)" than an individual signal source. That's where I get escape pods from.

    Just be careful, sometimes there will be hostile ships there, or they can jump in after a time. They seem to be engineered like CZ ships, my unengineered Anaconda got jumped by two Eagles and a Sidewinder after collecting the escape pods. I made my escape after a couple of minutes ineffectively shooting at them and my shields getting taken down and pounded with missiles.

      @@DaveStarfire I had ships jump in every one but they never shot me once.

    You might also be able to bulk grab occupied pods from 4 wreckage POIs above Ram Tah's base, there's 4 of them and one of them spawns 5 pods every time you jump into it.
    Edit: seems to be only good for Aisling bonus farming.

      Has to be from the same system in PP that you turn them into.

      Anything that you already have... not new systems.

    I farmed escape pods by "serving warrants" (aka bounty hunting) at a Nav Beacon...I will say the AI commanders in the area will get super sweaty and try to snake your pods from you.

      Do blown ships drop escape pods? I never noticed that

      @ thanks, got my first pods that way. And discovered escape pods are valuable cargo, so don't get scanned to many times at once

      @@alexmcd378 Yeah, anyone with a warrant will scan you and try to take them from you, by force if necessary. Some of the AI commanders will even launch hatch breaker limpets at you.

    Does the 8 second rule also apply when disengaging SCO and activating cruise assist?

    • @csh5414
      @csh5414 20 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Nah, you are better deactivating it about 3-5 secs. It’s also the called 7 second rule not 8.

    Any PP2 system. Faster to scan the Nav Beacon. Turn in to any PP2 agent.

    • @AtlasRandGaming
      @AtlasRandGaming  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ya if not lazy... I generally decide to do this not when at the sun... and I do a lot of exploration so scanning is almost automatic to me. But yes you could scan the beacon - but you'd need to do that after every one you go to most of the time.

    3 weeks in elite is a long time. Your youtube vid was out of date within a week of publishing. I got two elite updates today alone. It's completely useless. Frontier is finding all the loopholes and plugging them up faster than youtubers can cash in on how to quick and easy

      Ya I did this on 2 other accounts, but dude the video came out a day after PP was released LOL... I'm showing reality which includes mistakes. If you want a perfect 5 minute tutorial don't play and wait till big youtubers release it weeks from now. Some people want to see what I did right AND what I did wrong to learn from it.
