@@WickedPaint would love to buy the stencil, what is your etsy store name, I only interested in faces like actors, singer, Edgar Allen Poe 11x 14. Thanks
You can also take color selection tool in gimp to remove the white. Or make a vector/brush in gimp if you select the black or with copy and past it like a vector or brush in a new layer. It's nice work with the news paper effect to make a halftone effect and cool how you print it out and make this pop art👍🏻
Amazing content you had a video showing how to use the cricut pen to create amazing circular prints.. Now that video has gone i wondered whay website you usef to create those if you could help that would be amazing
LOVE your art!!!! I tried to follow along but my newsprint feature is different than yours. You have a G next to yours and mine is at the bottom of the list with that other symbol. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much and I am so happy to hear you are trying it out. When I created this video I made sure I installed the latest version of Gimp which is 2.10.18 so I would check to see if yours is the same. I don't know what the G symbol actually means but will have a look and come back to you with a better answer. Is your newsprint feature creating the same result when applied to the image?
@@WickedPaint Thanks that was the issue! I had version 2.10.12. Going to make another attempt! I appreciate you getting back to me so fast!! Please check out my art on Instagram - Motley Mix Creations. Cheers!
It is possible but it is a bit tricky in photoshop as it doesn't give you the same amount of options. Gimp definitely has some cool features considering its free.
This answer is a bit late, but maybe it will help. I tried this guy's trick and got pretty close. Here is the link to the video th-cam.com/video/V5Ec0jKwhf8/w-d-xo.html
Hello, I tried to print it but there’s a yellow triangle telling me that I can’t print cause the image is too large . How do I bypass it as you’ve done ?
Hi, so what I did was save out the image in two half's so it fit the printer size. Then I cut them both out at the same size and stuck them together afterwards.
That's a great idea!, I have tried it before about 10 years ago. It's not as easy as it looks but would work really well for something like the painting in this video.
I've never tried screen printing with vinyl to be honest but it looks really interesting. It could work if you have a good way to transfer the vinyl without getting the thin parts tangled up. Maybe by using a vinyl transfer sheet to get it the design onto your screen then it would work.
Good question, this was cut with a cutting machine and if you don't have one of those then you can print it out and cut it by hand if you have the time. Otherwise you can always go to a sign making shop where they have these machines and ask them to cut it for you if you have a file ready for them.
@@angiec3860 Wow, its awesome to know people from the other side of the world are watching my videos. You could try finding someone local with a cricut machine who is willing to cut it for you or you could try an online service like www.stencilsonline.com/ where you can upload your design and they will cut it for you. There are also lots of people on etsy willing to do this also if you have a design.
This is amazing! Thank you for sharing!
You've made this look so easy to do! Thank you for sharing your talents and expertise with the rest of us!!!

Keep up the great videos. They are good quality and are easy to follow. Good stuff mate.

Really? If you want it I will take a look and see if I saved it somewhere. Otherwise I have some others on the etsy store.
