This is the arc where Carla gets better. As far as crossovers go there was a manga one shot crossover with Parasyte. Where Lucy got the Parasyte Migi because they both have the same Japanese voice actor.

Mystogan is arguably one of the most wasted characters in this series. Him being the mysterious, elusive guild member, only showing up to get jobs or when the guild was in a crisis made him appealing. As well as the fact that be was a unique guild member, not needing some ancient magic, or being part of some powerful family to be considered powerful, and not needing a tragic back story to be heroic and selfless. Instead he turns out to be another Jellal and gets stuck in Edolas before we really even get to know him.

How did Edolas Juvia and Edolas Wendy join the guild? Did they join the same time as their Earthland counter parts? How come Erza Knight Walker's not in the guild? Is Edolas and big as Earthland, and do they have the same number of continents? If not, does that mean the other continents don't have Edolas counterparts? You see what I mean?

Thus Erza, one of the characters who is the most attached to Fairy Tail and would do anything in her power to protect the guild along with those associated with it, becomes the Fairy Hunter: a woman who hates the guild and will do anything in her power to destroy it and those associated with it. I don’t necessarily see the relevance of wizard membership correlation nor the fact that Juvia & Wendy joined Fairy Tail in Edolas, as it is simply an opposite reality not an alternate-if that makes sense. In terms of the size of the Edolas, it does not seem their universe is structured the same as Earthland, so I wouldn’t be surprised if many people from Earthland simply don’t exist in Edolas.
