I don't know why, I'm a guy but I can connect with what you're saying. I spend 80% of my time trying to understand why I rejected a girl and if I took the right decision. You need to do one on how damaged girls act when they are in love with someone...when I get very scared and feel vulnerable I will let go and try to feel in control again of my painful feelings of fear of being betrayed or exploited again. Some others are also quite different but similar among those who have been deeply hurt in the past.
I don't know why, I'm a guy but I can connect with what you're saying. I spend 80% of my time trying to understand why I rejected a girl and if I took the right decision. After spending time with her I felt so many feelings at once and so vulnerable and out of control of myself I had to take action, so I sent her a message saying that I didn't trust her enough to keep on speaking to her and everything ended there. Now I miss her like hell and every little thing reminds me of her. But I'm scared of trying to get her back and feeling that fear and vulnerability again, so I'm stuck in this indecision, it's really draining and it feels empty.

But I hate myself, I am a mess, I have PTSD from childhood trauma and can be so emotional, tired, fearfull at times. Feel like I am a waste of her time. That I dont deserve her. Even though I work at healing. Its like, if I cant feel good and feel safe in the world I am just someone you need too drag with you and take care of. I am afraid ill hurt her. Sometimes that can be a burden but don't let that get in the way. Stay positive and be able to let go. Show her that you care. If you are able to do that and she likes you, she'll reciprocate that back.

I'm in that situation right now. We've known each other for a few years. This year we started going out time to time, having really nice dates. Something that I really appreciate because she's even more introverted than I am, she doesn't really talk to anyone else at all and avoids most people other than me and she's single for many years now. I said not really and she said that she doesn't want to bother me. So I assured her that she never does that and that when she will have time, she can text me and we can go. She was ok with that. Tho now she's still visiting the parents and I'm not really sure what to think.

Then I made an idea of making letters for her and surprisingly she read the first one (don't have idea about the second) based on what she told me and answered one simple question I wrote on that letter.
I already admit my feelings for her but she just said that if we can only be just friends to avoid awkward moments and she's not ready to be in a relationship because of her work and responsibilities for her family and she rejected a lot of guys before me. And told me that if I can find another girl to pursue. She's so reticent as told by her mother (yep I already met her mother) and keeps telling her to find a boyfriend.
But now I'm still confuse after what she said should I stop loving her? Or should I accept that we can't be together?
