    I am taking cbd oil for interstitial cystitis. It is a lifesaver for pain. I was taking tramadol but it did not get rid of all of the pain and also had side effects. Cbd oil is a no brainer for my choice in medicinals.

      There are other doctors you know.
      Anybody that's taking their medical situation seriously will get second opinions if they have actual medical conditions.
      You do have to respect that your doctor is taking your situation seriously if he's treating you as an individual which it appears he is.
      If he's a real doctor and a good doctor and following the rules he is going to try other things before trying marijuana.
      Nevertheless if you think cannabis is a good idea and you think that your doctor is not being reasonable then you must consider a second or third opinion before you just start doing something medically on your own. Just because cannabis has worked for you doesn't mean that it's the very best thing for you.
      Do you know that your doctor has prescribed cannabis to anyone else?
      Just because their license doctors in your particular medical facility doesn't necessarily mean your doctor is licensed to prescribe it and just because your doctor may be licensed to prescribe it doesn't necessarily mean he's very keen on it for most patients.
      Most doctors are hesitant to prescribe it to someone under 25 if they believe has been using cannabis through their teens because of the known developmental issues it causes on adolescents and young adults. if you're going to insist on it you can always just go straight to a pot doc in a box and get your card and be done but if you actually realistically want to use it medically I would go to a real doctor for it.

      Otto Tater Your comment rings true on many levels. However, I think that one cannot discount the outsized role that cultural bias plays in the use of cannabis to treat chronic pain. When someone is in extreme and non-abating pain and relief is thought to be only a legal joint or gummy away...then waiting for a second opinion seems unlikely and even unreasonable. My doctor had me on ever-increasing doses of opiates to which I became addicted even under doc supervision. Clouded by my own biases, it never even occurred to me to ask for cannabis or to seek a 2nd opinion. When that doc moved and I was assigned a different doc in the same practice the first thing he did was to ask if I’d be open to trying cannabis. Once I relented and followed his recommendation I was astonished that the previous doc had not offered me this option as it was SO much better. I had to remind myself that the first doc was simply acting on his own biases just as I had been. I believe it’s going to take a full generation or two, plus nationwide legalization before we see a real real shift in how people understand the relation between cannabis and optimal health.

      @@ottotater2787 considering canabis is the safest form of pain relief I would hope more doctors would start with the simplest form of treatment. Opiods are an incredibly huge problem.. We need to try safer known methods..

    • @ottotater2787

      @@marialuyan we do we start with aspirin and if that is not effective then we work our way up to ibuprofen acetaminophen and eventually work our way up to opiates depending on the amount of pain but we do not just start with heavy pain medication strong enough that it will guarantee knocking out the pain but rather we try the most minimal functional drug and dosage that works.
      Don't confuse what the doctors wish they could do with what the doctors actually do because the doctor has to be independently certified to recommend marijuana so you have to consider that he may not be allowed to recommend it yet. He still has to have the time to go to the classes and learn the information and then pay for all the certifications and weed is just one of the many options that doctors have to pay money and time so...
      Just consider this time right now the same thing as drug trials.
      Doctors are recommending marijuana to persons and they will be able to soon show physical result to the federal government that there is medical value in marijuana and where that value is and is not.

    Use fresh flower tops as an edible use hybrid sativa, indica mix very good Cbd content this is highly reliable to relieve chronic pain special for nuarapthy, and grout and arthritis. Take at bed time works for 3-5 hours. . If you need instant pain relief smoke two - three tokes. Down side you can drive for three hours . Much better to eat vs smoke.

    How many people realize that the flowers they buy have an estimated THC content. It's never lab tested.
    If your medicine does not state it's lab tested it's not.
    So you never know how big a dose is.
    So micro dose people. Injest very small amounts and wait at least 15 minutes and up to 45 minutes.

    Wait a minute, before we tout the glory of a scientific community let us remember who was being paid to lie about cannabis all these many years. I may forgive but I do not forget
    Truth is one thing, arrogance we have had enough

    • @ottotater2787
      @ottotater2787 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The only lie you've heard in the past years that you're attempting to incorrectly refer to is not misinformation but rather an insistence that the test they did on cannabis said there was no benefit.
      That lie was from the fearful government and that is completely different than today with an opposing side saying "look at all of this particular and specific information" that says that there is good use from cannabis.
      Who are you referring to as they in the past that you seem to also be referring to as they in the present?
      What lie in the past are you referring to and what lie in the present are you afraid of being perpetuated? by "They"
      And whom are you afraid of it being perpetuated by?
      And most importantly to what bad "end" or result are you referring?
      In other words exactly what the heck are you talking about when you say they lied in the past?
      In the past your government lied to you and said there was no benefit and slowly the medical community saw that that was not true and pushed back and created all this information that were watching and caring and talking about and told the government stop lying to us and that's what we're looking at right now but somehow you're confusing these whistleblowers and information shares with the same people that were trying to lie to them and tell them that there is nothing for them to use marijuana for the doctors knew that was wrong in the doctor's push back and now its the doctors that are telling us that the government lied to us.

    • @rhodes6840
      @rhodes6840 5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That was a lot of verbiage to say "did not".
      Heh
      No one gets a pass on this, not "science" not medicine not industrial as the effort to keep cannabis illegal was entirely self interest. All co-operated in the lies, all got paid, so listening to them now seems foolish in the extreme.
      Pointing the finger at others and claiming they made you do it is just laughable.
