Also, Nightmare King Grimm boss battle is a thing that should not be missed in this game for my opinion. When ı learned if i would done what brumm would request to me, that would mean i could've banish the entire troupe from dirtmouth, couldn't use Divine's service anymore(even if it is expensive like Helluva bullcrap), Grimmchild be replaced with an another charm that is actually can be cool and i could've lose my chance to fight against to Nightmare King Grimm, which is my most favorite boss in the Hollow Knight. And all of these things made me want not to banish the troupe at all.
Beating the Nightmare King Grimm seems to have the effect of banishing them, anyway, although that could just be because Grimm was supposed to die and the Grimmchild will one day take his place.

Fun fact, the Dream Nail doesn't count as a damaging move so you can leech some soul off of him during this without consequence.
