Javed Ahmed Ghamidi is a Pakistani Muslim theologian, a Quran scholar, and an educationist. Mr. Ghamidi is a student of Maulana Amin Ahsan Islahi and Maulana Abul A’la Maududi. Mr. Ghamidi has authored several books, including the bestseller ‘Meezan’, in which he presents a comprehensive treatise on the entire content of Islam. Mr. Ghamidi is a researcher and a critical thinker who has challenged many aspects of the traditional Muslim schools of thought on the basis of evidence from Quran and sunnah.

Ghamidi Sb, I think it's time u should start interacting with non-muslims in the US and other Western countries (like the way Mr Sabeel Ahmed doing in the US). He's making a good progress despite having limited knowledge on Islam. You're the only person could clear some of the biggest misconceptions abt Islam from the West's minds. Just a humble request! Ty

Great idea!!! As a matter of fact, each one of us should do this, wherever we live. I've had excellent results when I explained some misconceptions to non-Muslims around me.
The response will be why not 'bad' Muslims first. Hence our own brothers are & should be his first addressees. Nevertheless, his books are in English for genuine students. Regards.

ماشااللہ غامدی صاحب ایک بڑے اسکالر ہیں پاکستان کے لئے یہ اعزاز اور فخر کی بات ہے انہیں مختلف موضوعات پر عبور حاصل ہے جس کا احساس ان کے لیکچر سننے کےبعد بخوبی ہوتا ہے ان سے درخواست ہے کہ اردو کے وہ الفاظ جو عام فہم نہیں ہیں جیسے استنباط یا استقرا وغیرہ کا انگریزی ترجمہ بھی ساتھ بتا دیا کریں تاکہ موجودہ نسل کو سمجھنے میں آسانی ہو( جزاک اللہ )
پچھلے لیکچر کی ابتدا میں کر دیا تھا پہلے استعمال کے ساتھ ہی.

May Allah swt protect him preserve him give him good health and long life for the service of Islam Ameen. Br. Hasan excellent questions Jazakallah khairan for your dedication. Mashallah This is very deep I would suggest if you can explain briefly most commonly used Urdu Terms before the program. I think if you make list of 10 important terms Ghamidi shahab uses almost all his bayaan please explain them before the program. That will be great help for average audience.

A commendable approach to understanding Islam . But please use simple Urdu along with English synonyms as many as possible
کیا حضرت آدم ع سے پہلے بھی انسان موجود تھے ؟ ان کی جسمانی ماہیت کیا تھی اور وہ کہاں مقیم تھے۔ کیا وہ ا سانی نسل بھی ابھی تک موجود ھے ؟
سوال یہ ھے کہ کیا تمام انسانوں کی فطرت بنیادی طور پر ایک جیسی ھے ' یکساں ھے ؟ ماحول کے اثرات اور تعلیم و تربیت سے انسانوں کی فطرت میں نشو نما اور کم و بیش کوئ تبدیلی آتی ھے ؟!!
کیا ایسا نہیں ھے کہ کچھ لوگوں کی فطرت سلیم ھوتی ھے اور کچھ کی بد ؟!

You're right, but if truth be told, I owe Ghamidi Sahab a lot, of course firstly in understanding 'deen', but also equally in learning and understanding the Urdu language. When I hear any difficult/unknown word, I just speak it into something like Google Translate, and I learn a new word!!!
Using explanation of terms every time will lead to loss of time. He, however, has translated it in previous lecture first time he used the terms. Regards.

No matter why these so called malvi object on his work, you need a PhD a minimum to understand the why this legend think!!!
I do have a humble question. I have never seen you speak english or engage with other great thinkers in USA. Why??? I am sure you can speak english. Why your message is only reduced to Pakistani communities around the world when Islam is a global message?
