  • Muhammad Hassan Ilyas, Director of Research at Ghamidi Center, USA, comes on The Pakistan Experience, to discuss the wrong notions of Islam made popular by TH-camrs in Pakistan.
On this episode, we discuss, how to understand Islam, Multiplicity of Opinions in the Islamic tradition, TLP, The role of the Establishment, Shariah, Women in Islam, Slavery and more.
Muhammad Hassan Ilyas is a young passionate theologian, researcher and expert in ancient Arabic language and literature, greatly inspired by the famous Islamic scholar Javed Ahmed Ghamidi. He is a close associate and son in law of Javed Ahmed Ghamidi and is part of his ground breaking research project on the historical record of the sayings of the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (P.B.U.H), with an aim to rid the prevailing Islamic ideology of common misconceptions in order to counter religious extremism.
He is a young, passionate researcher and educationist. Director of Research at Ghamidi Center USA.
He has been actively engaged in initiatives for educational reform since his formative years with Organisation for Research and Education (2009-2012). Later, in his early adulthood he went on to deliver special lectures on ancient Arabic language and literature to PhD and Master students of International Islamic University, Islamabad (2011-2012).
He was the research head of the research department of Al-Mawrid, an Institute for Islamic Research and Education. More than a dozen PhD and Masters students working on theology have worked under his guidance during their dissertation. He was also a pioneer teacher and curriculum developer for Al-Mawrid’s education program for children and adolescents in the United States.
He completed his bachelors at Medina International Islamic University, Malaysia, and is currently enrolled in University Technology Mara, Shah Alam in Masters of Research working on his groundbreaking project on Oaths as a literary device in the Qur’an. Alongside, he is working as a personal research and literary assistant of Javed Ahmed Ghamidi representing his works in academic circles and engaging in public meets to propagate and educate the public on his views.
He is invited all over the world for lectures on theology, jurisprudence and his expertise on Ghamidi school of thought. He has been making television appearances in programs on social and legal implications of the prevailing Islamic thought in Islam. His works are frequently cited in academic papers and has been interviewed by many PhD scholars for his expertise in theology and particularly in Ghamidi school of thought.
At this young age he has achieved many accolades including a gold medal at an international academic conference for his model research work on Oaths as a literary device in the Qur’an, and several awards for his academic articles and public speaking achievements from Medina International University, Malaysia.
In future, he plans to further his research work on theology, and ancient Arabic language and literature, he plans to set up an institute for reform in religious education and advanced learning in Ghamidi school of thought. He further wants to design ventures for massive outreach of Ghamidi school of thought to masses with an aim for reconstruction of religious thought of the common Muslims.

No dear..being a christian you are "people of book" and not far away from the same real Message brought by all the Prophets including Prophet Essa and Prophet Muhammad.
Kafirs are those who came across the right presentation of faith and despite the truth was clear to them yet they reject it out of their haightiness and stubbornness.
All the prophets were raised by the same God with the same Message and Prophet Muhammad being the last and universal messenger ONLY purified and perfected the same original message.
Life is a test from God and we are tested in numerous ways. As seekers of truth we should continue our journey and arrive at an honest conclusion before our test is over and we depart this world.
The life test can be undersood by the survival series Man vs wild. You are airdropped to a remote island or location where you have to survive against all odds and challenges while following the dos and donts code and then you are returned and judged if you qualify to enter the world called Paradise or disqualified and scrapped in the world called hell.
If we want to learn about the Islamic faith we should learn it from the Quran.
You belief in Jesus lets explore and begin the journey from the conversation between Allah and Jesus mentioned in Chapter The Table of the Quran.
      Its only the first step..

@@cyb-msee this is the mistake. Islam is not Arab religion. When prophet started preaching Islam, Arabs said the same thing. Aran said we can't leave path of our fathers & forefathers.
This is a more fundamental question than question of history or culture or pride.
We all are in this Universe which we know we did not created. We don't know where does we come from, what is our real purpose & last but not the least 2 questions?
1- Who created us & why?
2- Is the death our end or we transcend?
3- If there is life beyond death what will be it? And does our this world has an impact on it?
In short, Islam is about perfecting your this world & hereafter.

      There is a difference.
The search for the right philosophy is often accompanied by criticism and many times discarding of existing philosophy and the philosophers who put forward the policy. In the case of Islam, the belief of believers that the Quran is entirely and eternally true and that the morals by which Prophet Mohammad lived his life are to be followed by everyone forever; makes it almost impossible for genuine search in the direction. Most muslim critics of Islam (if there are) tend to barely justify Quran and Mohammad in one way or the other, often by the old excuse of contextualization and interpretation.. There is no quest to improve the Quran and discard outdated verses or the life principle by which Mohammad lived.

It’s not prohibited to build temples churches etc in Muslim lands. But prohibited in the Arabian peninsula.
It’s like one can build a mosque in Rome but not in Vatican City.
The boundaries for the “Muslims Vatican” were marked by the Prophet pbuh. This is the Arabian peninsula.

@@muhammadowais1011 in reality islam as an ideology has killed more also the resistance to reform makes it a real threat.
It's just that Muslim lag behind in the power of science otherwise u would have seen major genocides.
