Yeah, that's Dracula. You can just casually saunter under death as he floats down at a glacial pace to try to touch you... which doesn't instantly kill you... IDK this game doesn't make sense. I still love it though.
Hang on! What version of the BIOS was _that?_ I'm only familiar with the one that has the nicer "Famicom" logo. That aside… _holy fruits,_ that was _nuts!_ it's like the game just… _gave up!_
Oh! I forgot all about the variants. I can appreciate variety! Especially if it's done purely for the sake _of_ variety, rather than out of necessity. Thank you very much!
Honestly, I always thought that Simon's quest had a lot of potental but it really fell FLAT* and metaphorically preceded to defecate on the living room floor with a smile and a wink because deep down it knew what it was doing was wrong but loved it all the same. It's kind of like SON's inbred cousin I suppose.
@@cherry_lvx Yes, "A Requiem" is extended in the NES version, and I prefer it. Still, I like the FDS version more for the entire soundtrack, instrument-wise.
I dont think you understand the video.. its a TAS... tool assisted speedrun.. most if not all of this is possible in a real game but they use an emulator and re-do each move hundreds sometimes hundreds of thousands of times to make the shortest run possible. It's the run you would get if you had a machine playing that knew everything about the same.
What a horrible night to have a death warp
*What a horrible night to have long ass loading screens.*
The load times on this version make the US version's day night transitions seem not that bad
Detective TsunTsun what’s really nutty about the loads, of you play though normally you’ll flip the disk 6-7 times.
It's amazing how people can figure these kinds of perplexing glitches.
Well those "credits" sure made sense.
LOL, I was half expecting rather than the text to spell out "circumstance" to spell out circumcision. It makes only slightly less sense.
Hell of a way navigating through that memory leak
6:44 "0days" sounds about right.
5:30 Definitely one of the most intense battles with death ever.
That's supposed to be Dracula tho.

@@FFVison Or you can just sacred flame the shit out of him right when he spawns.
@@FFVison Yep, that also works.
"Castlevania II: Omachi Kudasai"
It's actually Dracula II: Noroi no Fuuin
@@letcreate123 r/whoosh
@@ryun.8072 Do you feel proud
It means please wait lol that’s funny
"Dracula II: Omachi Kudasai" = "Castlevania II: Please Wait"
Brokenvania II: Simon's Glitch
"Simon you must defeat Dracula!"
"Well I have a date in six minutes but I can squeeze it in"
I like the American ntsc soundtrack wayyyy more!
This TAS can be summed up in two words: "Please Wait"
Wow! Wish that was doable on the NES version. Excellent! 😀
6:04 LOL@Simmon Belmont! That's up there with Jimmy and Bimmy Lee from Double Dragon.
Taking a short cut to Dracula through Hell
オマチクタ゛サイ
it looks like samurai rpg on neogeocd ^^
オマチクタ゛サイ: the game
Glitchvania 2 : Dracula's broken curse

The BIOS screen is from those Sharp Twin Famicom systems.

Not a Problem!
This load time is why the disk system failed
This glitch works only on this version of the game?
Oh okay.
I never understood the meaning of the credits text.
well, that's what happens if you don't sleep well.
Omg loading screens And horrible nights 😊
I feel bad for the people that had to play this version
"omachi kudasai"
Dracula II: Noroi no Fuuin
3:34/3:55 This supposed to be death in the water ? WTF XD
I wanna defeat it but I can ! Help
Omae wa mou shindeiru!
Nani?!
Simmons Quest
It's not a Mazevania if it doesn't have at least one version with an extremely glitchy way to beat the game.
TAS really buttraped this game, didn't it?
WAT ?!?!?!?
オマチクダサイ but each time the game gets more broken.
Neat!
famicon ost sounds bad
cool tas however!
This video will not play for me at all.
Back when Konami made sense.

Am I the only one who prefer FDS version music to NES version music?
Yes. Yes you are.
I like the NES version. But NFDS version is better, in my opinion. But "a requiem" NFDS version is inferior to NES version

@@tduyduc I agree to you. I prefer so much too the japanese version of Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse (Akumajku no Densetsu) by the awesome soundtrack
the load times and the crappy version of the music is really awful..

They're not trying to hide that. It's a TAS.
