Hey Kev, i've got a Lasernut and it's ace! Not a basher really, but for one bit of advice before you get going for real, change the centre diff spur gear to an alloy one, the stock is plastic and made of something like playdoh. Hot Racing and Vitavon do a good one.

Maxx. The kraton 4s is a glorified granite. Shares a ton of it's parts with the 3s line. The maxx is a whole new thing. Besides that, the maxx is also more durable.
@@gasolinediesel972 are you stupid? Granite and Kraton aren’t even the same chassis. At least compare it to one of the LWB 3s arrmas. Start there and come back when you are more educated

Hi kev, that paste on the chassis is to control the motor's thermals, since the aluminum chassis is a very good heat conductor. Basically the chassis is used as a massive cooling component

Hey kev! First of all THX for making videos! You make the world a better place. Second: will u get the new arrma vortex? I only buy RC's that survive your durability tests.
That car lasted about 20 minutes for me then went to the garbage can .
I have one with 120 amp 10BL120 ESC + 3650 brushless 3100 KV platinum from surpass hobby and it is a Monster on steroids, ESC and motor stays cool at the point you can drive non stop for 2 hours as long you have spare 3S or 2 s batteries. I have 2 others with 2838 and 2848 brushless motors with 35AMP and 60 Amps with 17T pinion mods and it is also pure madness jumping high on dirt track and still more than 60 Km/h on 2s and around 75/90 Km/h on 3S. And after all of this I still love to drive my others 144001 with stock brushed motors daily on my garden tracks.

Bevel gear for the rear diff is on the end of the shaft. Need to take the rear diff apart to change the large plastic gear.

I absolutely loved the granite 3s when I owned it. Needed the least out of the box to take an absolute thrashing out of any rc I've owned. Once it had some RPM arms on it, it almost never broke.

Hey Kev, cool video. Thats awesome your expanding your cars based on opinion. For what its worth the Redcat Kaiju is worth looking at. Reliable standing backflips out of the box on 6s, tough truck and less money than the maxx or arrma 6s. Dont get me wrong, 3s and 6s arrma rigs are awesome. I just find the kaiju is my go to basher. Bash on.

Get a corally punisher it’s supposed to not be arrma tough and it can do 85 mph if you read the manual

Tekno et48.3 / et48 2.0. .3 version has all m2c upgrades available, you have to get the mt410 and covert it, only difference is chassis, and you’d swap out m2c towers anyways
thats thermal paste so the heat of the motor goes into the the chasis keeping the motor cool

Try the HB 3 charger it is not that cheap, but it is a crawler and a racer, and an off-road car and I think it is better than the traxxes and try the octane 2.0 XL buggy

Well...the XO-1 doesn't EXACTLY do 100 mph out of the box. You have to change gearing and make a few other adjustments.
