While the Döttinger Höhe is a long straight, it's still very short in the context of the whole Nordschleife. Most likely a max wing setup will be easier to drive and faster over a full lap. Oulton Park feels a bit like a mini Nordschleife, but it's much tighter and slower (less aero dependent, more mechanical grip dependent). Not sure how well setups will translate between the two tracks. Why not use Nürburgring GP setups as a baseline? Of course it's all speculation until the release.
Speculation offcourse. My idea was that al the bumps on oulton really could replicate the nordschleife. Obviously giving it a test on the current nurburgring couldnt hurt. Thanx for the comment
@@SimracingArnoutMcCormack expects Macca Evo II to be fast on Nords with low wing, so that sounds like you might be on to something. We'll see soon enough.
Fun fact. Nurb gp is not super aero depending. Its more mechanical grip depending. In the macca the fastest wing level is 6, cuz you can go so much faster through the low speed stuff.
@@ploeggamer363Interesting. I have very little experience with that car. What you're saying does fit nicely with McCormacks prediction for the McLaren to be fast with low wing on Nords.
@@tobias2252 yeah the macca will definitely run min or almost min. Though, there might be a reason that the macca might struggle on the track. The car is so fast because of its ground effects. If the car cant run min ride height, then it will lose a lot of downforce. So i might not be that good anymore

Im so glad this track is finally coming to ACC. I spend hours in other games just looping this track when im not doing multiplayer racing.
Me to hunderds of laps in forza 7
Your contents are the best ones nowaday. Always no bla bla bla straight to the point. Keep it up!
Thanx mate. Yeah I try to keep out the fluf with my limited English
