Great run! In the sun challenge, the biggest tip I can give you is to drop a bomb on the mob spawners you walked past getting to your safe spot. Makes surviving much easier
Great run NL. If I have Excalibur in the Sun Challenge, I just stay on the bottom floor where the exit is and go back and forth between the two spawners there and just delete whatever comes out. That spot in the top corner is probably the best place to be with just a whip however. Anyway you’ll get there! Keep plugging at it. Enjoy that sweet monitor!
Yesterday i also managed to get to the Cosmic Ocean and I am super proud of myself because I managed to kill Hundun without paste and while poisoned. Just wanted to share that with you, guys.
My unsolicited tips: For third phase Olmec to save some bombs you can ride him to the far left wall, run into him to make him slam straight down, then stomp/whip the one ufo which survives, rinse and repeat. You’re guaranteed a clean floor break so long as you bounce the ufos towards Olmec. I like to make Olmec hop into the wall after every ufo to keep a safe rhythm, vlads, jetty, or springies help make the ufo kill safer For the sun challenge put a rope or two directly above the arrow, the only thing you will have to worry about is vamps flying up, you’ll need to stomp them and immediately go back to the top of the rope (they come from both sides so two ropes makes it slightly safer), may seem spicy but nothing else will be able to get you, you’ll save a lot of time not looking for waddler and excalibur. Also I don’t know this for sure but I believe waddler is always on the main path of the floor You’re very close though, I can feel the pog
I don't think NL knows how lucky he is to get a teleporter, not the pack, so often before the ankh skip lol, jetpack + teleporter = super easy ankh skip, you whip the idol then just teleport up through the lava after it explodes and jetpack straight up. I always spend awhile looking for the teleporter haha. (you get a hired hand on 4-2 so you can have him hold the teleporter or Excalibur, too)

NL, the mirror thing is strange to others because they see you normal all the time (not mirrored). While we always see ourselves mirrored, so that’s why seeing a photo of yourselve always looks a bit off, because for your brain it looks flipped but that’s because it’s conditioned to your mirrored face. Now you’re saying mirrored images look off, that might be because you’re looking more at the filmed, unflipped, version of yourself than the mirrored one in the mirror.
Hey NL great video. I think my method for beating the Sun challenge is SUPER EASY an you can do it without needing to watch a video. All you need is 1 sticky bomb(technically you don't) and 1 sword. You bomb the first spawner to the right or left(depending on entrance) outside the beams then simple stand SAFELY next to the spawner by the beams. From there all you do is slice every enemy that drops from the one spawner till the timer hits 0. Easy. An i made sure to test it once more before posting this comment. Hope this reaches you.
There are two versions of the Ankh skip. 1. The typical version of bombing the floor and using a rope to survive whole the lava goes down. 2. Hope there's a secret door back in the lower parts of the subspace. Bomb it and it'll trigger the lava. Done.
STAND WHERE THE ARROW IS (all caps to grab attention) throw a rope up and climb it all the way then be ready to whip or jump on any vampires that sneak in between the laser guards.
hey idk if you turned on your 144hz or not but you can if you're on windows 10: Right click on your desktop, click display settings, scroll down to the bottom and click advanced display settings, display adapter properties for the 144hz monitor, then click the monitor tab and choose the refresh rate from the drop down menu.

If you are having trouble seeing everything on the monitor and it becomes a problem, try pushing the monitor a bit farther away from you.
Yo theres some purple doodads in the sun challenge for you to bomb, they spawn enemies, just blast one nearby and run to the bottom corner.
I worked with a guy who looked just like Fred Armisen. He said he would get approached in public because of it.

27'' 1440p and 144hz is the sweet spot for monitors imo. Especially if you are still running with a GTX1080 like me lol.
