- The first 4 minutes and 19 seconds of The Zipf Mystery but everytime Vsauce repeats a word, it loops back to the last time it was used.
I may have missed a few, but I won't be fixing those mistakes again, because my laptop already lags so much (not that much), and the fact that I did all of this on CapCut, manually.
And also a lot of timing errors that make the video loop unsatisfyingly. I'm sorry, I couldn't time the cuts more precise due to my reaction time.
If you wanna see more of this video: go to this link: • 4:59 of The Zipf Myste...
I did not create the material shown in the video; The Zipf Mystery is owned by Vsauce.

You have successfully invented a new form of torture that induces mental insanity
I’m losing my shit at this dude. I’ve been watching for 7 minutes and it feels like it’s been an hour. I’m going insane. Great work
This is amazing, like an accurate seizure simulator. Can't imagine how much time and energy you've spent on this
18:02 "Word frequency and ranking on a log log log graph follow(ing) a log log graph, follow a nice straight line! A nice straight line! A power law. This phenomenon is just proportional to 1 / its rank"

... well... all the way down.
I respect the effort deeply. I disrespect my compulsion to sit through all of it anxiously fascinated.
1:41 "the top 20 most common english words in the english language"
I fell asleep about 15 minutes into watching this. I had to start over because I couldn’t remember where I was exactly.
The 1/2,1/3,1/4... segment is hilarious
The whole sequence from 9:54 - 10:45 is pretty entertaining

I did not click on this video. It came from an auto play. I was deeply confused why sm was replaying
24:40 Here's a very subtle loop
When I am really, really tired, and my mind is collapsing trying not to think about stress, this is what my brain does. This exact thing. Sometimes I'll even say stuff out loud while pacing in circles, repeating, repeating, a little further, repeating again, caught in mental loops as my mind sits at the brink of insanity, staring across a dark river of dreams I am too tired to swim across.
Thanks for making this, now I can explain how I feel sometimes to people by just sending them this :P
I got drunk last night and thought i was loosing my mind man. Probably listend to this for 5 minutes before I finally put on another video. Great job for making me think im crazy
i cannot count how many times i have heard "the of and to a in is I that it for you was with on as have but be they" already
That's a fun fact, a piece of trivia.
But its also more.
1:04:06 It's amazing how it always seems to cut away the most dramatically at the moments where the topic is supposed to resolve
53:58 "tens of tens of thousands of thousands" 🤣
55:43 The most used word, "the", shows up. The most used word, "the", shows up. The most used word, "the", shows up...
....about half as often as the most used
I think this is what life is like in hell
what it's like trying to give a presentation with ADHD
9:52 lmao
31:16 This is a fun sequence
That's a fun fact. A piece of trivia.
BRO THIS AUTOPLAYED I THOUGHT I WAS WATCHING THE ACTUAL VIDEO FOR LIKE 30 SECONDS I WAS LOSING MY MIND
If youve never played Celeste, this is what its like

@@noobyplayz2840 Watch my other video called "Barbie Girl but everytime a word repeats it loops back to its last use"

Jerry's The Shop
You know *the* place.
Well anyway life was just a little bitty boy, living in a box under *the* stairs...
@@mr.duckie._. in a corner of *the* basement half a block down the street from Jerry's Bait Shot
i'm 4 minutes in, i'm going to predict that the Jerry's Bait Shop of this video will be The Of And To A In Is I That It For You Was With On As Have But Be They
edit: 8 minutes in, seems like my prediction is holding up well so far
edit 2: 16 minutes in, just got dragged back there again. i think i might've been right
edit 3: 18:26, they said zipf for the first time
edit 4: 39:19, sauce is the british national corpus
edit 5: 40:40. it happened again. If The Of And To A In Is I That It For You Was With On As Have But Be They isn't the Jerry's Bait Shop of this video, I don't know what is.
this seems like it would be possible to automate quite easily with a little python script and ffmpeg
YOU DID THIS MANUALLY???!!!
1.- Great work bro, the effort is very much appreciated
2.- For the love of god please use a programming language
@@demian2234
1. Thank you for the compliment.
2. I don't know how to use a programming language
@@ilovefractals1729 You don't know? But then how do you do your videos?
@demian2234 I do them manually
Let's make art together some time. This is brilliant
Why does it loop after he says “the” at 0:10 That is the first time he said it
¹ is ² the...
[He should say "the" at 3, so it loops to 2]
² the... ³ "the"
[He should say "is" at 4, so it loops to 1]
¹ is the... "the" ⁴ is
[He should say "the" at 5, so it loops to 3]
³ "the" is ⁵ the most used...
@@Eic17HOh, thanks I get it now. The repeated word is replaced by the previous instance of that word.
sisyphus
this is art
this video is so good
is "the."
please do this for the whole video
It’s 21 minutes and a 11 minute video (Albuquerque to be specific) is 17 hours. So yeah most likely 40-60 hours (because stuff like this is exponential and not linear
@@thegamers5339The Albuquerque one was done with code. Since I'm a dummy and don't know any coding, I have no chouce but to do this manually. So far, I've done 5 minutes of the original video, which is expected to be 3 hours and 20 minutes long.
my guy how long did this take to edit😭😭
This took about 16-24 hours, excluding the long breaks I made. I'm extending it to be longer. Wish me luck
@@ilovefractals1729 Good luck!

Чаще самих англичан определённый артикль в английском языке употребляют только русские 😊
Ooh, the examples?
@hhhsp951 hello! Hm, I thought it is a common and a well known issue, but I can't find any proofs now... But an American woman (far ago) told me that I use the indefinite article too often, like all Russians. Maybe I'm special, and she was wrong 😁🤗🎄🎅🥳
@@hhhsp951 my friend, I may be wrong... Now I am not sure... Maybe she was speaking about the overuse of the indefinite articles (it was really very ago). %) Thank you for your question!
