Valley of fire is such a beautiful place. I’m always amazed everytime I go there and being from wisconsin it’s such a drastic change for me in scenery. I’m glad to see you go off trail, I tend to do that quite often, especially when the crowds get to much to handle. Beautiful footage and thanks again for a great video!

I went to Valley of Fire yesterday! I drove in from the Hoover Dam around Lake Mead. I was AWESTRUCK! What a drive! And the park was one of the most fascinatingly beautiful places that I’ve ever seen! I hope to go again and stay a few days. Arch campground looked like a great place to camp. I like your idea of having a tent to lounge in. I sleep in my Equinox pretty comfortably.

Hey Sarah sorry if I'm crossing the line here, but you have been a big influence to me on my own TH-cam channel. I sent you a link a while back but never heard back if you ever saw the video I did on Nelson Ghost Town after you inspired me to explore the area? I think you'd like it because it's always fun to see the same area you explored through someone else's lens. At any rate, I'll attach a link here and I hope I can interview you (and Little ONe) one of these days! th-cam.com/video/6WrEy1bYiP0/w-d-xo.html

Back in 1979 I took a picture of Elephant Rock laying on my back with Lake Mead in the background. One of the best pictures I have taken (Made a clock from it). Some of the reddest rock I've seen. I was back about 10 years ago and still looked great. I live in CT but travel almost every year to Capitol Reef NP, where my mom grew up.

Hey ! I thought you said you were in Utah by now , or is this old footage and you're just now adding it to your Channel ?
Okay the competitive TH-cam content creator juices are flowing and I've got to make a video of me going up to Red Rock Canyon ! Which is completely on the opposite side of Valley of Fire !
But you're in luck because I still don't have a laptop or any skills in editing so this will be an interesting endeavor , let's see how much money I have after registering the Bebop and getting a full tank of gas with my paycheck that gets gutted by garnishments .
    " HAVE AT YOU " ! 😄

Definitely awesome place. so many outrageous human and animal rock formations from an age past when giants were the predominant thing and dinasoars, etc. the desert is so cool. but always bring maps, compass, gps, emergency location beacon, etc. it is so easy to lose your bearings out there and even in winter bring water, food, hydration, etc.

I have a night mare ish story i tossed down some cash while hitch hiking for some one to take me from out of a bar or restaurant and to the valley of fire the guy told me he'd take a picture of me off some dirt road instead of having my picture taken he pulled his 44magnum on me and to this day I remember bagging for my life IN front of the red mars like looking wall of redder than red stone wall he gave in and at gun point many of years ago with the barrel in my temple driving one handed over a rutted road and the hammer locked back drove me back to the road where i waved down another vehicle even though i was scared to hitch after and he drove me back to the nearest civilization I was so traumatized I never turned it in for fear of being found by this person while i was traveling once again and years went by till i could recap this memory of this happening to me till many years latter
i seen no park sighns going inward to this area nothing other than a wall of red stone the color of dark Blood which showed up in the setting sun which we soon ended up in complete darkness and the oddest part or this was I'm not even sure if this location was in the valley of fire because number one we left and drove from Arizona for what seemed like 3 hours to reach this place and as i looked it up on Gps now I see it located somewhere around in Nevada and to this day I'm unsure if i was actually really taken to the valley of fire or driven out else where the person had claimed thats where we actually where I'm lucky to be still alive and able to tell this story many years after the fact and while years latter trying to put the puzzle back together i see nothing here that looks anything like what i seen that sunset filled day
