Ten excellent reasons to visit this state park! Wow, the "wave" looks similar to the one in Arizona -- so beautiful. Plus slots canyons, overlooks, arches, pictograms... amazing! Thanks for letting us know!!
Hey thanks so much for watching! If you enjoyed this video it would mean the world to me if you could give it a thumbs up and subscribe! Lots more to come!
COOL video Guys! Laura and I need to go check all of this out. Not to mention, The payout on these hikes looks much larger than at the Blackjack tables.
Valley of fire 🔥 is just awesome! But you missed some of the best places ! I would not have considered half of those as a top 10. Go off the beaten path and hike the slot canyons ! You will find more solitude and beauty :) Just make sure you check the weather for rain and bring plenty of h20.
I wish it was easier to see on maps, we zoomed in slightly south of the main FW trailhead and saw a right hand pulloff on the park road, and there was a subtle trail from here, this is the back way we saw and saw others on
Amazing.. thanks for the video.. I did not know this existed! Is there lodging in the park too? Or can you please suggest the closest place for a night stay? We will be coming from Southern California
Hi Kevin: what do you mean with park at striped rock to visit Fire Wave via Pink Canyon? Where is that parkspot, I thought you could not park there? To enter pastel canyon you just need to park at the side of the road right or do you mean somewhere else? Thanks!
It’s definitely a tougher one to find. I would recommend looking at the alltrails map and zooming in and around, you will see what I’m referring to. It only cuts off a little bit of mileage though. However it is beautiful, it is just a roadside pull off, it can fit maybe 4-8 cars if my memory serves correctly
Great vid! We were there a few years ago but did not cover all the areas mentioned here. Did find the remnants of a plane crash up on one of the hills.......That was interesting.
I definitely gave this video a thumbs up. I also subscribed. Great job. I cant wait to see more from your channel. Check out Taylor's grand adventures for great travel videos and more
Hey James! If you’re like us and don’t plan things ahead of time, it’s super tough. But what we did is we went to a first come first serve campground, there are a few of them in the park. We left Vegas around 9am to get there as soon as people checked out from the night before
How long would it take to drive out to all these spots and do these small trails? We're going to vegas this weekend and staying at the strip but want to visit Valley of Fire Saturday morning.
if you really wanted to get after it and move quick, you could probably do a majority of these in a day, but it'd be a hectic day. I would pick your favorite 3-5 on this list and go from there, and regardless you will love your drive through and enjoy all of the pull-offs in addition to any hikes you do. It's a great day trip from Vegas
So you recommend parking at pastel pink canyon Trailhead and crossing over to fire wave? Can you give more details on that alternate way? Is there trail signs posted or is it unmarked?
it is unmarked, and there's not a trail on it (atleast on alltrails). However if u load the fire wave map, just zoom in, move the map a little southwest from the firewave and you will see camera emojis for pastel pink canyon. There is a small pull-off that can fit 4-6 cars!
I'm in Las Vegas for 3 weeks for work and was looking for someplace fun to go. I saw your video yesterday and enjoyed it and made a list of places to visit per your recommendations! Got up at 5:30 this morning and headed out and I think I was only the 2nd car in the park! It was a great place to visit and I can't wait to go back and show my wife! Thanks guys!!
@@omarelashkar8202 I think you are asking me this question and not @KevinEassa? If so, yes I went out by myself. Either way would be fine, solo or with a group! It might be more fun to go with people so everyone can share the experience together!
@@JoshuaWhitgob hey thanks, and yes I was asking you lol, I was just wondering if an agency will cover all of these spots but at the same time, I wanna know if doing it solo is hard or not
Thanks for this vid and others. My first trip to this area is coming up in November this year. Do you happen to know if drones are permitted here? Loved your Snow Canyon vid too. I'll be flying into Vegas and heading to Zion for about 5 days. Then off to Capitol Reef area for another 6 days.
Kevin, thank you and Brea for the great tour. I got there at sundown a week ago, so I did not get to see a lot of these sites. You have shown me what I missed.
Yes you can, but it would be a go-go-go-nonstop kind of day . Two days would be great but still fast paced. I’d recommend a weekend or pick 3-5 of your favorites. I hope this helps!
You don't. $15 for other state $10 for local. Open between sunrise to sunset. Especially if you want to do white dome trail or anything passed visitor center they close the road at sunset. You can also drive to lake mead Hoover dam area which is a longer route back to vegas if you have extra time .

Ten excellent reasons to visit this state park! Wow, the "wave" looks similar to the one in Arizona -- so beautiful. Plus slots canyons, overlooks, arches, pictograms... amazing! Thanks for letting us know!!
Thanks for watching! It is such a cool underrated park
Hey thanks so much for watching! If you enjoyed this video it would mean the world to me if you could give it a thumbs up and subscribe! Lots more to come!
It was great but it should be called Bree's butt at Valley of Fire. Don't get me wrong, Bree has an amazing butt...but it kind of gets old.
Really well done video, Kevin, with just the information I needed. So helpful. Thank you!
COOL video Guys! Laura and I need to go check all of this out. Not to mention, The payout on these hikes looks much larger than at the Blackjack tables.
Much larger payout than the tables 😂 thank you guys for watching!
Hey Kevin, Can you spell at 0:51 sec? is it infamis?
How many hours you need to visit all of these spots?

Nice video. Loved your footage of Fire Wave from above. Was just there last month and only viewed from below. Guess I’ll just have to go back!
Thanks so much! It’s my favorite hike in the whole park!
Kevin and Bri,
What An Awesome Place To Go See In Nevada!! Thank You Both!!
No thank you Doug, you're awesome!
Where is strike rock (for the back way into fire wave)? I can't find it on the map

Enjoyed your video. I just spent an incredible day in Valley of Fire. I need to go back and spend more time there.
So much to do in this one park! Thanks for watching

Thank you! And wow! That’s very interesting
Great video! Added this to our itinerary as a result.
PS Better title would have been “My Girlfriend Walking Thru Valley of Fire State Park”. 😂
Hahahahaha you’re not wrong. Either way, hope you enjoyed it
Great video with so much useful information. Thank you so much
I appreciate that, thanks for watching!

Maybe helpful for next time? Either way thanks for watching!
Vegas native here 🙋🏾♀️ You did a great job with this vid! Way to honor our local gem! I'll be sharing with friends who visit!
(We say Nevada as in "flat" not as in "spa" here tho, unless your 1st language is Spanish 😉)
Any tips on getting a camping spot? We hear it is difficult to get one

can you do all 10 in one day?
Yes you can, but it would be a go-go-go-nonstop kind of day . Two days would be great but still fast paced. I’d recommend a weekend or pick 3-5 of your favorites. I hope this helps!

Thank you so much Javier, it means the world 🙏🏼
Do you need to make a reservation to enter the park?
Nope! You just pay for a day pass upon entering
