Yes, this controller will work as a game controller on an iPhone. Make sure you have the model that has the Android/IOS switch on the left hand side. On the iPhone, Settings/Bluetooth and then put in the batteries and pair it. Then Hold down the @ button and push the B Button to put it into d-pad mode. The blue light will flash. Pressing A should no longer toggle mute the phone. Now find an App that supports the iCade controller protocol. Try "3D Donnington Castle VR App". Or, just to use it for an arcade controller and not bother VR, try "ALSTEROIDS ( Asteroids Retro Shooter ) By RI Productions". Hold the device in horizontal. "D" is Thrust, "C" is Shoot, And the joystick right and left are rotate. There are lots of iCade apps up there.
Do you still have the headset ? I need to see the QR for this specific utopia headset that does not have a button on top, because omce im in the Cardboard app, it expects me to still use that buttom and the controller only controls the exit button lol

According to Androsensor app, my LG Aristo says it has a Compass sensor (Orientation XYZ), but no Gyroscope. The compass icon in Google Map is working. Also, using Google Map's StreetView mode (with compass mode enabled), I was able to orient my phone in xyz axis to look around me in 360 degree. Question: how can I enable this "compass" mode (like in Streetview) when I want to view youtube's 360 VR content, if I put LG Aristo inside this VR headset ? (without hand controller). Will this compass mode works for any vr headset, without using a "gyroscope" sensor ? I always thought that a "gyroscope" is required for VR headset but StreetView works by using "compass" mode. Thx
I got mine to fly my drone. It works perfectly. Very comfortable to wear for long time. About the Bluetooth controller that come with it. It doesn't automatic shut off and drain my battery. Even when I shut off by pressing 3 seconds, it still drain my battery. Do you have the same problem?

I got a blue tooth controller that isn't the same one as this, but i can tell its pretty much the same shit by the functions you show.. It doesn't work in VR, doesn't do anything. very limited controls.. probably why you didn't show it working in VR
universal blue tooth remote.. Its smaller than the one you show. There is a switch on it between Game and key.. When its on key, it has the functions you showed, controlling the volume... Shutter in camera,, some video controls.. But it doesn't do anything in the games.

There are lots of problems/issues with the controller that can not control any VR Games/Apps. You can only control TH-cam videos. There are many TH-cam VR 360 Apps that you can use with. Somehow Apple Inc. won't allow 3rd party devices to control their iPhones, iPods and etc.

Mine is working, make sure you sync to your phone and program it properly. What kins of remote did you get?

Nope, inside the VR Headset is very dark. Unless you have the light source coming thru your VR Headset or your phone is too small.

There is couple combo to program the controller, such as @+A, @+B, @+C, and @+D. No, it shouldn't affect your iPhone keyboard.
