  • Welcome to North Beach; the northern-most neighborhood in Miami Beach, and arguably it’s most up-and-coming. North Beach picks up at 63rd Street, shortly after Collins Avenue becomes one-way going north from Millionaire’s Row. The southern end of North Beach is well developed, with modern oceanfront buildings.
And this is where the North Beach story gets really interesting. Until recently, the area between 69th and 75th streets was blighted, and truth be told, it’s still in transition. But a focused revitalization effort is in full swing, poised to transform North Beach into one of the most desirable residential neighborhood on the island, featuring more than 27 parks and community spaces, a community center with a roof-top olympic swimming pool, and a walkable town center with mixed use development, linking the beach to Normandy Isles. North Beach is the future site of the North Beach Community Tennis and Aquatic Center, adjacent the vibrant North Beach Bandshell Park, Senior Center, beach volleyball and pickle-ball, adjacent Ocean Terrace, which is in the process of becoming another park, and when finished, will be contiguous with the recently renovated Altos Del Mar Park, featuring a natural amphitheater and a Pirate Playground for the little ones.
As we move north along the Atlantic Beachwalk, behold Altos Del Mar; the last single-family home development on Miami Beach, flanked to the north by the recently renovated, 27-acre North Beach Oceanside Park.
There is a lot happening in North Beach, and one thing is for sure: Opportunity is knocking for those with their hearts set on a home by the beach, with a more relaxed atmosphere than you would find further south along Miami Beach, and closer to the five-star shopping and dinning in Bal Harbour and Surfside.
