Awe thank you for taking the time to make this video. I’m moving to Miami and looking for places ❤and it’s nice to hear from a local who lives there. Greatly appreciated thank you 🙏
I was born and raised and North Miami. A lot of people don't know that North Miami Dade County is very ghetto and very good. Miami Gardens opalocka Carol City things like that . Most people that come to Miami stay in Miami proper meaning downtown breakle the beach Coral Gables coconut Grove Aventura Sunny isles that's where all the money is Kendall is predominantly Peruvian dural is predominantly Nicaraguan Hialeah there's no English whatsoever so if you venture over there be prepared even when you go into places like Walmart or publics You'll need to know some Spanish because you will find very few people that speak English. Miami gardeis again where you'll find Tootsie's cabaret the famous strip club and also Miami Lakes will be the nice area in Northwest miami other than not I would say if you visit miami definitely stick to the beaches stick to the tourist area's downtown breckle Coral Gables coconut Grove Miami Beach South Beach if you don't need to go to intermiami without a local guide or someone else I live there don't go there because your chances of getting robbed are very high. Liberty City is probably one of the worst places in the country as far as crime and murder there are many documentaries on it. I mean there's a reason a lot of the 1st 48 is filmed in Miami Florida. But Miami Dade County is very very big. Without being said I finally moved away 8 years ago I do visit from time to time it will always be my home I love the food the culture the atmosphere but yes rent is sky high and there are other places in the country where it's visiting or worth living. Miami's a fun time to go take a trip but unless you're a millionaire living in the expensive places I would think twice. Not trying to hate on my Hometown I'm just being realistic but I do have to say we have the most beautiful women in the world and in the entire country living in Miami Florida. You have to be careful make sure you ask them for their ID because they'll say there are 20 something and they can be 18 or even under you just don't know they are that gorgeous. I've seen it happen.
Aloha and thanks. This was unexpected and Really great. Moving back to the ocean life and here you come with just the right information and vibe. Back to Diving the Keys. Where would you suggest a brief stay to check out from Coral Gables to the Keys? Aloha.
Thank you for this video. I am planning to move to Miami to live and work for the rest of my life. I am from Northern Ireland but I like the lifestyle in Miami and I think I can run a good business there and be happy. I am training to be a life coach. Please do more videos like this. i wish transit was better so all neighborhoods were viable and didnt require long ass commutes or even just better zoning so everything out of the city center wouldnt be car centric suburbs
Hello Daniela ! Your video is very interesting and well done ! I m from France and I have a job opportunity in Miami , the job is in Brickell. I found a little house in the Roads, at the very limit of Little Havana. At 9 minuts of velo bike from my work. Why do you think about this district ? I would prefer to live in Brickel but condos accept a max of two dogs and I have got three little dogs :s Thank you
Hello, great video! Very informative. I'm looking to buy a condo and move to Miami beach. I've been looking at south beach on the West side to stay away from the beach and all the craziness of Ocean Drive and Collins Ave. I'm currently staying at short term rental on Collins Ave and 13th street. I love it here now! I'm one black away from the beach and walking distanced to so many restaurants and supermarkets. However, I've been told that this area gets really crazy and wild during Spring Break and during the summer with tourist. Do you think that it will be more calm over on the west side? Or should I just be looking to buy a place further up north on Miami beach to still be close to the beach but away from the wild, crazy tourist? I would love to be in an area that is walking distance to everything since I don't want to buy a car. That's why I've been looking at south beach on the west side. Any tips or advice will be great appreciated! Thanks!
hi! :) Thanks for your message! Well, to live, my favorite areas would be around Flamingo park, mid-beach, and maybe south point (more expensive). When you say west side do you mean mid beach? or more towards Bal Harbor? Anything that is not around Collins will be more calm lol. But again, if i were to pick a residential/calm area, i would probably go with mid-beach. hope this helps!
I'm moving soon and will be working in Doral. Looking to stay somewhere between there and Hollywood and commute no more than 30 minutes. Any suggestions? Thanks so much! 🙏🏾
hey! i work in doral, but live in west kendall, which is 25-ish minutes from Doral. I love it because there's a lot of restaurants and variety and what not, but it's still a family-friendly are, which makes it safe for me since i'm a woman in her mid twenties who lives by herself.
schooling is NOT A PROBLEM IN BRICKELL BRICKELL IS GREAT I HOPE THEY BUILD MORE MID HOUSING IN THE SUBURBS SURROUNDING PLS but like it has transit options to many good high schools it is close to la salle, gulliver, ransom, and sas, and iprep. I dont know any public schools not in downtown but im sure they exist however u can prob gett a scholarship at la salle for pretty fucking easy so like that doesnt count

As a Westside/Sunset Harbour resident of Miami Beach, I can confirm that it's a wonderful location for a convenient and walkable lifestyle.
wohooo
Time stamps would make so much sense

interesting! thank you!
What about the migrants coming from cuba? I heard not many people speak English in the suburbs. Is that an issue?
i would say 80% of people speak Spanish in Miami. I wouldn't worry!
@@dani-moves where are the best areas for more non Hispanics? If I may ask
If u dont make over 100k a year Your not gonna be able to even afford to sleep on the sidewalk
facts 😂😂
I make 100,000 in the Midwest, if I move there, shouldn’t I be making 300,000 with the same skillset as a quality engineer?! lol
@@BambooScarno. Miami underpays everyone. So maybe 150k will be more realistic. But even then don't count on it.
How about Miami Gardens?? Lol
Not really sure... I don't think its within the best places to live in Miami. But im sure it's decent
@@dani-moves it was a joke lol. It definitely is not one of the best neighborhoods in Miami.
good video although raising children and car based suburbs should not be in t he same sentence
thanks for your opinion!
