This is an absolutely awesome upgrade!!! Now you can do the dreaded drone backup while not turning the drone!!! You'll be able to view the drone's position, while avoiding backing into a tree, building, etc. while maintaining the framing of your camera lens. This is an awesome update!!! While I've been flying with the hot air Balloons recently, I've wanted to frame the shot background and let the balloons enter the frame, but it was damn nerve wracking not having the subject in the frame and unsure where you/they are, given I'm flying in close proximity to another flying object. This is great also if you're shooting a building construction progress photo/video under construction, or real estate, you can back into a corner to shoot a space. A HUGE safety update!
DJI never ceases to amaze me, I originally purchased one of the original Phantoms and was amazed by the performance, now I have a Mavic 3, very impressive. Great video / explanations . 👌🏼

How do you disable the new AR Homepoint from showing up on the screen? I work for a TV station and they said the H icon was showing on screen and I can’t seem to figure out how to remove the (H) icon so it’s not seen.
Another brilliant explanation that anyone (including me) can understand. The all round vision is a huge plus. When in use does obstacle avoidance switch off. Also the propellers are clearly is shot so how does the drone exclude this when in obstacle avoidance as you would think its propeller motion would trigger the avoidance system. Thanks Mathew ;-)

What’s the yellow dot in the middle Plus, now with this you can’t see the indicator, if the drone is beyond visual how can you adjust the remote direction towards the drone?

It's a great feature, not only for preventing accidents but also for cinematography. A great update. In the future, it would also be great to re-use the main camera, with maximum resolution, so, with the view of more than one camera, the choice of position of the main camera could also be changed.
Great! Well explained. Some features looks really attractive. Who would find the swipe radar map functions? Can become useful. Time 13:11. On my Mavic 3 pro controller the text is "Vision Positioning and Obstacle Sensing". Why the difference? Might be interesting when trying to adjust the position being very close to landing. Trying that the drone has been jumping up some feet, making the aiming harder.
As mentioned excellent video and new features. What is still missing is a huge update on waypoints. Like using the mavic 3 pro 3x and 7x zoom function in your waypoint mission. Also whats needed is offline waypoint preparing on your windows pc and transfer the prepared mission to the drone. And finally we need gps tracking the remote. So that tracking is possible when eg flying above trees but the drone will follow and track the remote.

Trying to Install this update but having problems on Mavic 3 Pro, the Firmware Updates downloads Ok but during the Installation Process it gets to 40% and then freezes, sometimes makes it to about 46% but then it fails. Tried a dozen times or more and the same problem every time. Is anyone else having this problem ???

It will be on the MIni 4. There is no Mav 4 close at hand so no need to encourage folks to upgrade but the Mini3 people ( I have a pro) will have to buy the Mini 4 pro to get these features.
It said that the many three pro is not going to get the update for the new remotes that they had to come out with a new drone. just with better obstacle of wood ends and range. I think that's pretty foul on dJI's part.
for me vision assist is useless, why use it if the drone already has automated obstacle avoidance , the drone can fly near to an object, the obstacle avoidance will kick in once the limit is reached, you dont need to see it, unless you disable the obstacle avoidance which i don't think is right, and why do you need to turn off the downward vision sensor it will compromise safety, why just use the zoom to get closer videos /
