Hello I'm really interested in this product I'm from the UK. Do I need a sublimation printer for the first step in this video? it doesn't mention a cutter so I'm guessing you don't need that, we want to print on coloured cotton t-shirts. is this just for polyester and polyester mix?
its a heat transfer paper. There are different kinds of heat transfer papers out there. The one where u put the design on it and only get the design without no background color is the one she's doing and its called two step process paper/printer.

How do you remove all the surrounding white from the image. I printed my image but the entire A sheet has white and then the image. Your image is just the subject and the white is only where the color is. I can't figure that part out.
If you are using Photoshop, you have to make clipping mask. If you are using Illustrator or Corel, your file must be vector and just the artwork. But best is to get RIP software

However, it also supports toner-based sublimation, by separately purchasing and swapping the toner with the specialty sublimation toner cartridges. Unfortunately due to the limitation of sublimation technology, in sublimation "mode" it cannot print white, and still requires polyester or polyester coated materials made for sublimation. It's a dual capability machine, but unfortunately it's not magic! TLDR; -Heat Transfer can print in white, -Sublimation cannot print in white.

About 310 degrees for 120 seconds to marry the A and B sheets. The garment should be pressed at 310 degrees for about 25 seconds.

So time consuming for one shirt. What if I have to print 300 shirts? This method would take way too long.

That's correct! The top platen is what heats up, so you'll want your transfer face up towards it.
