Hey great video 🤝 but what I wanted to know is , can I print on transfer sheet using my sublimation printer and sublimation ink or do we have to use some other ink, please help me out. Thanks Love from INDIA 🇮🇳
The Luminaris 200 uses the A4 printing size, which is big enough to create prints that cover a large area on the front of a t-shirt. However, with the LuminRIP (Mac and PC Compatible) software that is included in your bundle, you can go even bigger as it automatically cuts the design in a way that can be seamlessly pieced together. So if your customer needs a custom item like a long banner, the Luminaris 200 can print designs that are up to 52 inches in length! Looks really good!! 1. How many washes can you get out of that image? 2. Can it be used on polyester? And or any blend? 3.I know this one is tough but about how many of those same print can you get out of the ink cartridge? 4. Does the printer needs to be primed every so often? Like it doesnt get clogged? Jjst trhing to get all the facts becaue Im a potential buyer I've bought a lot of machibes aith you guys and looking to expand even more and this will be the cherrie on top, thanks! Oh also does this printer do sublimation??
Hello, no worries about the questions, we're here to answer them! 1. There's no exact number but you'll be able to complete multiple washes without fear of fading. 2. We recommend cotton for this project but polyester works best with the sublimation feature. 3. You can print about 7,000 sheets with one toner cartridge. P.S. Ink cartridges use liquid ink, filled in a single-unit container (aka cartridge). Toner cartridges use laser technology to melt toner dust onto a page in order to create an image. 4. Our trainers will teach you everything you need to know about maintenance. 5. Yes, it can do sublimation! Stay tuned to our channel, we have a tutorial on this coming soon! I'm a newb and I love the video. But is it possible to use any inkjet printer? And do you have any brand recommendation for the transparent transfer paper and the adhesive paper?
Hello! We have added a direct link to the Luminaris 200 Simply-Peel transfer paper. shop.ricoma.com/products/luminaris-200-simply-peel-media-step-a-b-transfer-paper-100-sheets-of-each-step-a-b?_pos=1&_sid=f0ecd9391&_ss=r
Fàntastic demonstration and nice video indeed! But where I do not understand is, if you have a full 4 color (CMYK) design to print on a dark color T-shirts and this printer is a White Color Printer, how do you get other colors on the paper to heat transfer on shirts? Does the printer prints other colors as well? Thank you!
Hi there, thanks so much for watching. For additional information about our products, please visit our website > ricoma.com/US or you can contact us here > ricoma.com/US/contact-us
Yes! So this is a white toner transfer printer which uses a heat transfer method. Basically you are printing our a design on transfer paper and then adhering it to the t shirt, much like the process with vinyl cutters. The color of the shirt does not matter because you are adhering an opaque design to the front of the shirt leaving almost a sticker-like finish. you can watch this video to see the difference between this method and sublimation which you might be confusing it with -> th-cam.com/video/3dmBEtJXPck/w-d-xo.html&t
how long is the transfer sheet good for after you print to it and add the adhesive to it? I would like to have "stock" of premade transfers ready to press.
Hi! We recommend looking into our shop for all the necessary materials you need! ---> shop.ricoma.com/collections/white-toner-transfer-printer-supplies
There could be a variety of different reasons why it's doing that. It could be poor quality or low tack transfer tape, too much pressure/thickness when cutting the vinyl which pushes it into the backing.
Hello! The colors are usually accurate, but keep in mind that they may change depending on the type of file you use to print. For a more detailed explanation, you can watch our video on DTG files, which are similar: th-cam.com/video/twwuSD16rfQ/w-d-xo.html

With proper care of your garment (wash inside out on a cool wash, dry inside out on a washing line and iron inside out - no tumble drying or dry cleaning) it could last you up to 50 washes.
Hi there, thanks so much for watching. You can purchase supplies for the Luminaris 200 White Toner Transfer printer here > shop.ricoma.com/collections/white-toner-transfer-printer-supplies
Hi there, this feature has been removed from the software. You can still print larger designs by using larger paper sizes supported by the machine. The following sizes are available: - A4: 8.27x11.69 in. - Legal: 8.50x14 in. To utilize the Legal size, please follow these steps: 1. Extend the tray to its largest size by pushing the green tab. 2. Remove the rear cover for the tray.
So if your customer needs a custom item like a long banner, the Luminaris 200 can print designs that are up to 52 inches in length.
Yes you can but its difficult. If it's on white garment than it is easier but it will have to be a dark shadow, if it's on black garment that's when it's tricky, since the machine does first a white base. For the black garment, you have to make sure you have a solid outline and keep in mind the white under base.

Can it actually print in softer layers as well, or can it be treated to be like more united with the material of the tshirt? Just to not feel much the difference when touching the print and shirt
HI Michal, thanks so much for watching. For a better "feel" we recommend using the DTG printing method.
