Very much the style of maple I like.
Graceful & elegant with a gradual taper.
It's refreshing to see a simple soil mix too. I use an even split of ericaceous / John Innes No.3 for potted garden maples & they do well.

That's a big maple! Those dandelion weeds are a nightmare. That's a nice looking tree but I am afraid Scout was the real winner for me :)

Hi Mary, it is something i made i put the pattern on a piece of wood and used an old bar stool to create the table ;)

Hi Ryan The taper is really good now mate it will look good when you are ready to prune into shape, pity your doggy friend has had a chomping session on that branch but hey he doesn’t know anything other than it’s a piece of handy wood to nibble at. That's fair enough each to there own me personally I don't mind them being tall as long as the trunk is really thick but like u said we all got different tastes witch I respect
