Another very enjoyable episode and so relaxing to watch before I go out and repot my Japanese Maple airlayers. It was good having that short video inset showing the tree 6 months earlier. All the best :)
From the Pacific Northwest...Another awesome video detailing the work on a fully developed and mature Bonsai...Its is wonderful to see your work and beautiful trees...Per your request of your viewers, I would request more videos on pre-Bonsai...Working on smaller, younger, less refined trees...We/I want to learn the techniques of tree potential and development...Your instruction and attention to detail is so helpful...This video provided so much information...Love your work...Thanks yet again...

I love your videos very educational and informative. I particularly like how you don't get too technical and pedantic over style and formula. Its real. And if you don't mind me saying you have a lovely main of hair.
On one of my old bonsai I used TiteBond wood glue after taking off the bark on the dead section. Worked out really good for me. Dries clear. Holding up so far.
Love the carving, it's incredible the progress in six months. Would love to learn more about the after care, especially if the tree is dug up in Summer/Autumn when it is not ideal.
Hello madam bonson, I used to have a hinoki before, But something happened that The three die, Now I try to looking for one more but it's hard to find one here in guatemala, Thank you so much for show me how to take care
fantastic information and video thank you. What are the secrets to growing healthy hinoki? I've had several that have browned off and died. I don't have this problem with all my other bonsai. I live in Adelaide. Steve S
Hello Steve Hinoki very early to keep it heathy Moisture in soils well drain ok When you see the tip start growing give them Dynamic Lifter water it well
I have a forest of hinoki cypress that haven't been thriving for a few years. I keep getting the foliage going brown and dying off. I did a major repot, completely replaced all the soil this year, and washed the roots because I think there can only be a soil problem. The foliage on yours is looking exactly what mine should. Any tips for keeping these plants healthy?
If you repot them not long go then it shouldn’t do that at all I hope you do roots cutting for them? Hinoki is very easy thro They love clay moist but well drain !!! U have photo of it to email to me just close up of it anne@mandambonsai.cơm
