I bought 900 Fuzz after trying like 4 fuzzes and I've had it ever since. The input knob is really what makes this pedal great. It can be a fuzz but it can also be a boost, drive or heavier drive. It's so versatile.
I just got mine! Love this little dude. Last night I put together a mini pedalboard with the ~900 sandwiched between a boost and an EQ. Easily the most versatile dirt box of the many I’ve tried. Gritty amp sounds, raunchy Rat sounds, and ripping dying battery Tonebender sounds all in those 4 knobs.
I love that you're plugging using fuzzes like this. I don't have the ~900, but I use my SSBS Mini in the same way. A welcome departure from the familiar boosts and ODs, which make it a veritable Swiss-army knife.
Yeah! Love the clean boost tone on this one, may need to give this a look. I super-like using a couple of character-ful lower-gain pedals to give me a more dynamic ‘right at breakup’ tone. Lately using a relatively inexpensive Joyo (Tornado) for a clean boost. Then into a (relatively expensive) DRV3, also set pretty chill with its nice preamp, so that the more I dig in, I get some distortion, but if i play quiet i get a slightly hairy clean tone. Then if i want real crunch i kick in the distortion side on the Joyo, which pushes harder into the DRV too, it sounds excellent.
Just ordered this pedal on the strength of your demo; it sounds great and very versatile. I have the Barbershop V2 so I know it will be a quality bit of kit...cheers S.P and nice demo...
Amazing demo! This fuzz sounds really nice...but your playing is tasty. I am currently running a Browne Amplifications T4, but I think another fuzz pedal wouldn't hurt any! 😄
I like the T4 a lot! definitely different than this beast, but I generally don't get along with muff-ish circuits but that one is awesome. Love the Browne stuff

I totally agree, when you hear dual stage, you usually think extra gain, but the balance of the two is so much fun

Nice. The EQ would be awesome for mellowing out the highs, like the filter on a Rat.
Awwww heck better add this to the must have list 😅😅😅😅
Killer sounds. 👌 really appreciate you highlighting the low gain sounds too! There are some gorgeous textures in that little guy!
thanks for checking it out!!!!!

Awesome video, you dont see a lot of videos about how different circuits like this can be used this way.
YEP! couldn't agree more.

Thanks for the kind words! I'd love to know what you think when it comes in!
I love this thing. I try and sell one every chance I get.

Great job. Would love to see what you're playing on the neck sometimes during the demo. Very tasty chords and riffs!
shoot me a dm on IG and i can send over the part if you had a specific section you wanted to see
You get such great sounds!! I always wonder, how come it doesn't sound like that when I do it?! Hahah.. Great demo as always!!
Thanks so much friend!
