Team Corally Dementor XP BASHING on 6s

So I have been way too nice to this truck and I think I like the idea of it way more than the truck itself. I have had nothing but problems with this rig from day one. Had to make more custom parts but got the Team Corally Dementor XP running again and back out bashing. What can I say I spent the money to buy this 1/8 scale STUNT TRUCK??! So I'm still trying to make it work for me. Went ok for a little bit but........ hummm yeah you'll see? Watch and see. Thanks for watching, please like, sub, and click that bell!

I got one 2 days ago and love it. The thing is wickedly awsome. Took it to my local bmx track today for my first bash sesh and what can I say AMAZING...anyway I've watched this review and a few others and if I could comment that I had different issues then what I've seen on reviews. A couple the same but a few different. Front left shock tower bent like I've seen on every review. I lost a wheel nut...found it but(common in rc'ing). I lost a body clip 😭 Oh well life goes on😝. Now here the couple different issues I had. B4 my bash I checked the car out made sure every thing was good. Admittedly I didn't check the shocks them selves (upper and lower caps) seen as I only got it 2 days ago. My rear right lower caps that the shaft runs through worked it's self lose do I lost all the oil out of it. So that's one different thing. And my front body mount screws worked them selves out enough for the scree to be pulled out of the thread. Like I said I did do a pretty thorough once over b4 my first bash and b4 I even drove it for the first time apart from the shocks them selves. So there a couple different issues I had straight away. My chassis braces seem fine as that seemed to be a issue from what I seen in reviews. And I think that my servo saver is going already. Love my new truck but, absolutely wild insane. Can't wait to run it on 6s.

Good Bash G! Get Aluminum Round or Bar Stock from Home Depot, and make a Tower Brace. Thats what i did for my Outcast Version 1. Works Great!

You still built that custom brace? for the shock towers, hopefully to have one in the near future, (Team Corrally) has to learn from duribility problems for this product, nice testing it, gravity and well balance chassis.

Judging by how fast these are out the box, it's geared way too high. If it does over 60mph on standard gearing it's too high for off road use. 50-55mph geared is the sweet spot for this kind of motor size and esc amperage, you cant deify physics.

Ya I’m not loving this one Gary. I wonder how the Kronos compares. I haven’t got to run mine yet really but from a quick rip it seemed alright. Might sell it as a roller take out the motor and esc haha 😆👍🇨🇦

where did you find the aluminum support for the dementor

I made it out of a Outcast on. You have to grind on it some to clear the output cup for the rear diff. Here is a link to the one I used

I agree on the pinion, drop a tooth or two, I just run 4s and don't get that issue, btw aluminium braces are on the way.
