Thanks for your content, I have both but the notorious is busted. Can't get parts here in Oz. The front end seems to be fragile. Love the dementor. I have v1 & v2. Just purchased the 2021 version of the Shogun. What a beast. Very stable and absolutely flies out of the box. I am now a BIG team Corally fan. Happy days. 😊
I think that both trucks are great! I can't say if I like or think one is better than the other. They have their differences which is why they're great in their own way. I will say that the electronics in the Corally's seem to be a lot better. Just speaking from my own personal experience. Great video JayTee

I got a Dementor for 1/2 off what they're new, this looks barely used, there is almost no scuff marks on the chassis so am lucky that this was the only one for sale on eBay. I am only going to run 4S as do not want to have the fronts balloon. I am then going to get a Hobao MT+2 and swap out the electrics with the Dementor's. I hear the Torox 185 betters the one in the Hobao, then will probably sell the Dementor. I will probably end up keeping it but Team Corally seems to be extremely good value for money, specifically when it comes to the choice of Hobbywing esc and can.
New to the channel. I love your commentary and expertise. I'm hoping to get my son and I into rc trucks for 2021. I'm digging the dementor. The thing rips. I like the notorious, as well. I'm a newb so we'll be taking baby steps. Keep the content coming, bro.
hey where did u get the wheelie bar that you have on the dementor I know the punisher can use almost everything the dementor and Kronos uses and I've been looking for something for my punisher can't use it on more then 4s Because 6s is just useless power. I have bought 3 wheelie bars and pretty much every one is gonna require quit a bit of modifications. the last one I bought is for the 6s kraton and it screws into the wing arms which will be the easiest to install
So I definitely like those Team Corrally Rigs. They have some serious speed. It looks like it’s overall center of gravity is lower. Great for racing but I don’t think I’d be blasting it all over like a newer Arrma without a tower to tower brace. Either one is a great choice. Speed test on 6s please!!!
Yeah check out my super speed Saturday run a few weeks ago you'll see how fast that the mentor could go on 6s and what I had to do to get it to top speed

@Foto4Max I mean there was a lawsuit from traxxas against arrma which resulted in arrma pulling certain cars based on nero platform, I don't really agree with traxxas since pushrod suspension was around on RC before the Revo, but nor do I agree with people calling Corally cars clones
I want to like corally, but I get heavy redcat vibes from the brand. Attractive, reasonable trucks however the lack of aftermarket and replacement parts make it more frustrating than it needs to be. I have a kaiju, and I love it and hate it, not equally - probably 70/30 lol. I'm interested in the dementor or the jambo but I'm hesitant.
team corally has been around for decades tho with there 1/12 pan cars in such so thinking if there just gettin into producing bashers n such so hopefully once they get it goin there be more better parts support avaliblity we will see i really want one my local hobby shop has the shogun and kronos they both look sick for the money
I've got the V1 Kronos and Dementor. Great trucks! Corally made some HUGE improvements with their V2 release. Parts are plentiful online. Probably wont be able to get parts at your LHS (unless they carry Corally). I've got a list of 25+ retailers in the US (close to 100 world-wide) that have stock of Corally parts and about a dozen or so aftermarket companies supporting Corally bashers. Get one of the V2 Corally trucks!
I picked up a RTR ARRMA Outcast 6s EXB for 469$, I’ve heard that the Kuron motor from Corally is way better than the Spektrum 2050kv. Anyone have experience with this? Or should I skip getting a Kuron 825 motor and just get a Castle Creations 1520 Motor?
Kuron is a Hobbywing rebrand, as is the ESC, CC is expensive, you might be better with the Kuron, fwiw it is cheaper to buy the rebrand of HW in my country than it is to buy the actual Hobbywing.
Happy Holidays to the JayTee family!!!!!!! Just got back from running with my buddy’s Outcast and my Maxx. We had some really good close calls. Maxx kinda broke again. I’ll take a break from cleaning up. Time to watch.. Speaking about GPS I used my powerhobby GSM020 for the first time today and I like it a lot. You should look into getting that I fed like all of the measurements it gives you. I drove 16000+ ft today. Lol 😂 👍👍👍👍
@@JayTeeRC yeah I’m liking it so far but only 1 use. I like that it has drag mode and flying mode. It pretty much covers everything. I thought it was really cool that it gives you total distance also. Unfortunately while watching your video I felt like I left something behind today at the park.... I checked video footage and yup my Maxx remote was sitting on the bed cover of my truck right before I left. 🤬🤮 Damn it had a Bluetooth adapter on it as well. ☹️ I was in such a rush to get home. 😤😤😤
The skeeter is a little smaller but I love the skeeter 100%. I've enjoyed it since day one. Put a 15 to pinion gear in there and you are really good to go. Also change the punch setting to five and you'll have a pretty solid good truck
The Outcast Is way more durable than the dementor! I had one for about 2 weeks and blew the front and rear diff up in it finally got the parts to repair it and just sold it. Sick of fixing a brand new RC car for just messing around in the park. Was and even heading big jumps with it on 4s. I didn't even get a chance to run it on 6S
Nice video & comparison, out of the new 2021 Corally's range that you have tested do you have a preference for running on the type of area you are at in this video.
@@JayTeeRC What i meant was is there a particular Corally model you prefer for this type of area ie fast flat grass/car park. Between say the Kronos, Dementor,Python, Radix etc.
@@gillian9178 I would say that's for the Kronos is the best one out of all of them. Although I did Ben the rear driveshaft doing some huge jumps with it so it's not a hundred percent perfect yet but I think it's the best out of all them. Cuz I really ran a truck hard and I was trying to test some of the door ability of it. I got a review coming up love it real soon I just haven't had time to get back to it but I'll try to get it up so you guys can see that. The Dementor I like as well and I don't plan on really running it that hard are doing it as a stunt truck because already tested a lot of that with the Kronos
I feel team corrally didn't put the work in like arrma to design a truck... they just copied another rig and changed a few things.. also stop worrying what everyone thinks, its your channel do what you want. I have a 14 tooth on my outcast 6s and the most I've gotten out of it was 57mph. Seems to be a safe gearing for it. It's just too bad I keep having diff issues 😬
@@rcfanboy4264 The stock pins are way out of spec, 2mm instead of 2.25 which leaves a lot of play on the internal sungears. The ring gear and pinion is super bad, so I keep stripping ring gears on it.. it isn't something you should have to deal with out of the box.
I'm wanting to get my son a good rc car for his 7th birthday- I want 1:10 or 1:8 size that we can upgrade and repair together. Any suggestions or models to beware of would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Was that the stock pinion on the Notorious or the speed pinion? I believe the V5 Notorious comes with a 12T stock and a 16T in the box as the speed gear.
Lipi don't give u speed it only output power transfer so all u would get is either longer run times, it doesn't change speed on the car what so ever did my research
Weird, since I saw a vid not too long ago comparing speed on a cheap lipo vs smc and it was about a 3mph difference. I'm a basher so I don't care lol and I run cheapy zee or ovonic
Obviously he doesn't know. because lipos do change things up. RC Cars is trying to tell us that a 5000 milliamp 50c is going to outperform at eight thousand milliamp 100c. so the video you saw and the things you are thinking about it right

Notorious does 51 mph stock 6s 100c or 2 3s100c xt90. With 15tooth can’t hit top speed wheelies at 60 mph. I’m thinking 64 mph
