I would have added the bread, cheese, and cinnamon bun to the heater. And maybe even some water for the coffee. It's good for people to understand that you can stuff more items with the heater.

I have a few cases of the MREs. I decided to try one tonight. I didn't like it though! It's a military grade just like in your video. But the meatball and marinara was not too good. But I guess for a survival meal it is.
I have had some in the past with hurricane RITA back in 05. Those were really good.

What’s the shelf life of these . A friend gave me a few cases as part of my emergency survival prep . I haven’t opened one of the meal pouches yet . He told me to make sure all packages are still vacuum sealed and aren’t bulging.

I just wanted to mention that if that chicken was already in a pesto sauce? You don't add the cheese sauce that was meant to go with the breadsticks. The cheese sauce wasn't part of the chicken and pesto sauce.

I never ate our MRES When I was in the Marines back in 1987 -1991. I took rice noodles chicken and beef Thai stir fry with me. My girlfriend is Vietnamese and American and cooks great Asian and American food. She was in the Navy stationed by me at fort Clark air force base.
