Nice to see younger generations liking metal! I’m currently 18 and have been listening to Megaderh for 2 and a half years. I hope to maybe catch them this coming summer since they’re releasing their new album in the spring

@@conorbutler4808 James LoMenzo is definitely a great replacement though, I just saw them live with him and he really is a badass bass player and his sound and stage presence is great. I’d rather see sellers on too but I do love LoMenzo too! And I never got to see Megadeth with him either so that was kinda cool. Definitely a very talented musician

I was just saying if it had to be anybody, it’s not so bad having LoMenzo up there. I think it’s cool that they brought him back instead of another random. I miss Ellefson though 😢
I think Dave finally got it right this time! So tight, so heavy. Every time Dave goes to solo I am sitting here in awe like that sound. Kiko is amazing. He's another Malmsteen and he just chills, keeps it all low key, nails it and is such a fan friendly dude.

I was there, first time seeing Megadeth and was blown away! Absolutely amazing and one of the raddest shows Ive ever attended
I loved it too! It was my first time as well and on my birthday! That completed the Big 4 for me and I was not disappointed! Lamb of God was incredible as well! Getting to see them both in one show on my birthday was a dream come true!

I was at this show, and it was surreal hearing them play she wolf, because she wolf was the first megadeth song I learned all the way through on guitar including solo, and being able to hear them actually play it live was insane

I saw them for the first time Wednesday night at Riverbend amphitheater in Cincinnati and it was freakin amazing!! Dave Mustaine sounds as good as he ever has!! Great video sir

Good to see Megadeth still going, especially with Dave at 60. Here in Australia we haven't had concerts for almost two years. Few shows here are there in the brief moments when there were no covid cases but certainly no tours.

I saw Megadeth many times but my favorite time was in Miami Florida for so far so good so what in about a 1200 seat arena and they bought everybody beer Coors beer for sale proceeds went to the band Dave Mustaine stood right in front of me when he came out I was first row it was absolutely the best best live band I ever heard they sound just like the album and I seen him six times and every time is the same just like the album

Band is so perfect in that state.
Dave guitar playing has definitely improved during lockdown. His voice is a hit or miss these days. I wonder if he gets all the help he can out of his equipment...I am pretty sure there are ways to improve the live vocals dramatically...and hopefully as he gets back into more live shows he might find a better rhythm...

I appreciate that singers voices change. I think about Billy Corgan, Ian Anderson, Geddy Lee.. why would anyone want to hear someone that sounds the same as 30 years ago? Appreciate it and stop trying to think it's 1989.
Voice change? more like his voice is shot. I saw Megadeth 10 years ago and Dave needed help with vocals before the end of their set. Sometimes you need to know when to say when.

I'm a huge Rush fan and the media talks about how their live stuff accurately represents their studio work. No it doesn't, hadn't for a long time. They sound better live, because they change things up. Now I'm sad because there'll never be another Rush show, but we still have Megadeth.

LOVE Megadeth since Day 1!! Hate to say it but Dave needs to find his Chuck Billy to take over singing duties or they need to kick the volume of his mic to 20!! Cancer has unfortunately taken its toll on his voice... I attended the Camden NJ show 9-15!!

The Megacruise Tour would have been awesome to see. On this show Megadeth was the final act for the Metal Tour of the Year 2021 playing after Lamb of God. Hatebreed and Trivium played before that. I have full videos for Lamb of God and Trivium.

I've been around the megadeth scene for years, saw them back in the '90s. The music is still here but Dave's voice is so retired that it's now taking away from the overall concert experience. It's just not the total package anymore.
Agreed. My first gig was on the Rust In Peace tour, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and many more since. But I’m not sure I want to see them now. Even though musically they’re absolutely utterly nailing it, Dave’s voice is crucial to it and it’s barely even there.

I think Dave's live vocals are actually better now than they were back in the 90's. He used to sing at a very high pitch live which was very different to how he sounded on the albums. Now he sounds more like he does on the records. He never really wanted to be a lead singer. He wanted to play guitar. Like James in Metallica he only ended up singing in Megadeth because he/they couldn't find the right person to do it.
I was there. And i wish Dave call it a day. Sorry but not sorry.

Unfortunetely it was a short setplay. It must have been this way because Mustaine must be still getting used to performing again after the intermission for treatment and recovery but it goes step by step. I totally comprehend.
But beyond the songs that there were already in the set of this gig, I still wanna attend a show that features the following songs I missed in the current setlist:

Dave has been playing a very similar playlist for years, I doubt youl see any of these songs live. Maybe Ashes or Afire.
