This wheel build is reasonably straightforward. It can be completed just by gluing the wheel parts together however the M2 screws make the wheels stronger and look better.
Find the third party metal wheel parts on Ali Express.

Where do you get the wide wheels from any link?

The tyres and inner wheels are stock WPL V1 parts. The outer metal wheels are sold as 1/16 scale truck wheels and can be found all over AliExpress etc. Search 1/16 wheel or WPL metal wheel.

I just ordered a black set of these wheels last week. Specifically for my D12. I may try this.
I’m afraid it will cause clearance issues during steering. Due to the offset.

Yeah they stick out a long way! I have cut the wheel arches back quite a way on the D22 I have them fitted to.
