A good question to ask in these types of reviews is how you would feel if you had rolled the dice and purchased this from the retailer. Is it worth the price? The fact that it died while shooting would push me towards “no”… if I’m paying premium for a light, it would not die while shooting a video showcasing how awesome it is… however, your overall production value is on point. You’re definitely headed in the right direction. 😎👍
Haha well it died as in it ran out of battery which I noted requires charging mid shoot or another option would be plugging it into usb power. But I see what you mean 😊 And thanks for the support and kind comment!!
Great video, well done ! Do you think the Zhiyun FiveRay M20C can light up someone sufficiently outdoors at night, at a distance of 5m ? Do you think its fan noise would be noticeably heard in the video footage of a dji osmo pocket 3 when attached to it ?
I haven’t tested in that scenario myself but it should be fine. Do note that having extra diffusion would be helpful but of course that will cut down light more. Yes fan noise could be an issue if it’s mounted alongside camera

you should compare it to the NEEWER MS60C.
i have the Light, i use the diffuser never. i dosent diffuse. The Barndoors are great, but you can not close them to mutch.. These prodce Stripes.

Is that $200 for countries outside of the U.S.? I bought two and neither were $200. I paid $150 for one and $130 for the other while it was on sale.
In Canada, the combo pack is a little over $200 but in the US it’s under. Unsure about other parts of the world.
