Do you have any tutorials on fitting either the guarded or pgc metal frame to a tm 1911?

Yes I have one on the Guarder TRP kit which should help you. Just look at my playlists and it should be there ;-)

Good day, Sir. Would you mind explaining how do you achive a propper hop-up spin with Nine Ball hop-up rubber? TM stock rubber allows me to use up to 0.3 gramm bbs (I'm running most of my airsoft guns at 0.28 gramm bbs), when Nine Ball in my book is hardly good enough with 0.23 gramm bbs. I haven't try PDI (and I won't be able to try till next year, since it's already too cold for GBB here) yet though I have one. Is PDI hop-up rubber better then Nine Ball hop-up rubber at higher weight bbs?

Have you ever tried and fitted the Maple Leaf ones that require a nub/tension bit under the hop-up arm? I'm considering trying them but wondering if the tension bit won't make it very tight under the arm/inside the housing?

Thomas Andersson It is a tight fit anyway so I'd be hesitant to try that one. The Nineball hop rubber or better still the PDI ones are still the best tried and tested.

I've just ordered a PDI Raven 6.01 barrel and their bucking for my TM Px4 (still on its way here). Completely new to this (although I've always been interested) so will have to try out a lot of stuff and find my way as I go. My aim is to get all the guns I find interesting and make them as RS like as possible (economy might put a stop to the more grandiose plans, but will try my best).
Heard good things about Maple Leaf and prices are pretty good (well, maybe less so if you consider you need two parts for each gun) so a bit curious. Only time will tell I guess.

Where is a good place to get a few Nineball buckings at a reasonable price?

Thomas Andersson I haven't bought any for years so I'm a bit out of touch but Elite Shooting Centre, WGC and UNcompany may have them at a decent price.
