@@redwolfairsoft It's official. The lower part apart from the grip is metal. I mounted a light, fired off a few mags, and lo and behold, the surface that lost some black paint reveals a shiny silver surface underneath.
The pistol is licensed by sig sauer and better yet they sell it on their site so I'm 100% sure it will Update just got the pistol. Will say one thing it is so fucking smooth smoother my airsoft 1911s. Haven't shot it yet, will say the disassembly is a fucking pain in the ass, im not talking about taking the slide off the frame im talking taking out the barrel and guide rod, almost impossible to take out the inner barrel too, seems like it requires a break in period. Once recevied the pistol will come in a plastic bag for reason is because the entrie pistol inside and put is covered completely in oil, had to use a microfiber cloth to wipe all the excess oil off the pistol. The orange tip to take it apart going to need a quality pliers, cause using your Leathermen or fingers ain't going to get that tip off lol. Sights are OK, takes a bit getting used to of getting a good sight picture compared to my glocks, type b (Archon), and my 1911 I have. Might "black out" the rear sights using acrylic paint for now till I find a blackedout rear for my MK25. It seems like it will fit in a safariland holster just looking to see if I can find a proper holster for one. I can see why people hate white dot rear sights its blinding lol and very distracting Seems like there's are a lot of cons here but these aren't cons at all this is just something to be aware of when you first get the pistol. Oh forgot to mention about the trigger it does ha e that DA/SA type trigger feel however seems like it's lighter than an actual DA/SA
It’s been 7 years and I still say my walther ppq m2 is my best. My runner up is 5 years old my AW customs hx2502. Both have held up great over the years
I have a real Mk25 i bought back in 2002, and recently picked up a P226 Legion with the Sig Romeo-X Enclosed. I gotta say, i love those pistols, and so i bought this for backyard plinking, and it feels great.
I suspect a KJW with a frame and hammer polish, CO2 mags and a crazy jet inner barrel, a decepticon rubber and .3s will be a perfectly adequate P226 for less than VFCs
I have just bought one of these and my frame is metal, not polymer .. No … It’s not a snide, had it authenticated by VFC … So were earlier versions made with polymer frames then later with metal or visa versa??
Small error and a bunch of missed things. The MK25 didnt come into play in i believe 87 and the p226 was part of the XM9 trails to replace the M1911A1 and was orginally called a SACO due to the importation of them when Sig was still operating in germany. The P226 was the best and what the military was looking for but didnt win becuase of cost and thats why our Military was issued the M9A1 in 85. On to the P226 or Mk25. The Navy SEALs had a lot of issues with the M9 mostly due to the slide cracking and breaking on them and even having catastrophic faliures. The SEALS requested for a new pistol and thats when the Mk24 came into play now and won the contract for the SEALS and they are happy with it. What is the Mk24 well its the same as the MK25 but only difference is the proprietary rail it had miles before 1913 rails became a thing. And before yoy ask well how come it wasn't the stadard, well two things weapon lights and lazers werent a thing back in the day and wasnt even a thought, secondly if there were rails on pistols most would've had a proprietary mounting to accommodate the light and lazers. So in genral the proprietary mounting for lights and lazers on pistols werent even considred as a thought nor a standard thing also there was zero almost zero flashlights to use a light on a pistol anyways. The MK25 is still in DEVGRU service and SEALS as well and till this day every team member loved the pistol more so as a workhorse and reliability than looking at it as a cool pistol. And yes although glock 19s are used but they do love to run their MK25 and still is in service within the LEO community as well
A black magic marker could easily solve the white markings, maybe should have bought one?? … Those warnings in my opinion are an ethical approach by the manufacturer that can easily be erased by like I say a magic marker etc.
That GREEN slide pisses me off. I mean when you paint something, where are your eyes? Sig Sauer, you make real guns, right? Place your airsoft beside your real MK25 and look at the slide color. Is it so hard to do?
I have this pistol and he's talking about the grip panels those are polymer but the actual frame is made out of metal aluminum. I mean it's airsoft, if it was the real MK25 then yeah it would have the phosphate coating and an alloy frame with the steel slide and a chrome lined phosphate barrel, this is only on the MK25, the standard P226 is just a nitride coating but sig does sell the MK25 barrel. The real MK25 and P226
Did he just say ‘pacific needs’? Also, it’s not 2005. If the slide is metal, we want to know what metal and the process? I’m guessing at the price point and the omission of this detail it’s diecast pot metal?
Still can't believe that proforce make a laser engraving on the trigger guard, i mean, SERIOUSLY???????????????????? WHY??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PUT A F&^%ING STICKER!!!!!!!!!!!
EVER HEARD OF USING A DAMN BENCH REST TO CHECK ACCURACY, YOU DOPE!!? Here's the BIG PROBLEM ...... NOBODY HAS EXTRA MAGAZINES !! So youve just boight a gun with only one damn magazine!
You got me on 4:20 ;)
The hop up mechanism is quite staggering
Nice piece. Thanks bud
1:42 Frame made of polymer
7:31 Full metal construction
He misspoke, it’s obviously just the grip panel
Actually I’ve seen many reviews that aren’t sure about whether the lower part of the gun is metal or not. Was hoping RWA would be able to clarify.
Yeah, Sorry when I say full metal construction I'm referring to the slide and some parts on the frame. Not the P226 as a whole.
No worries! I just picked up the P226 and I really thought the complete lower is metal. Love your videos! Been waiting for this one for some time. 👍🏻

You forgot to talk about the thing that makes this the perfect airsoft pistol.
have you tried other mags? TM mags work in my VFC 1911
Is this a 1:1 scale of the real P226 Mk25? Was thinking about getting it for safe dry firing alternative to my own Mk25.

I would say so. The design of P226 looks better than PPQ. But the PPQ grip is more ergonomic.
I'm hoping they bring out a PDP. I got hands on with the Umarex T4E at TADTE and it's even better feeling than the P99 or PPQ NPA.
You should do a compare and contrast video pitting this P226 against the KWA M226LE.

I'm looking to get a P226 Legion. Entertaining this idea of dry fire practice, have you picked up the airsoft replica?

i have one it broke small part a spring would be no problem if u cud buy parts for it but cant find any replacment
How did you manage to remove the orange tip? Since the barrel isn't threaded

Just got this! Got stuck between picking this and the M18, M17.
The toy markings.... ookey. But still a very nice looking gun. The Navy anker makes it so cool. Love it ❤
Hi. How does this compare to the TM version? Thanks
Is the barrel end threaded ?
Where can I get one of these??
Im new to this field and im looking on google but are there Co2 variants of this pistol?

Love it❤❤❤
So want one of these but can’t find one in the U.K. anywhere!!
Anybody know when this version came out?
RED WOLF!!! Where can I get this!!!!!
I know I'm fat and have more moles than chin but I've got this beard and this gun so somebody's going to respect the heck out of me on the internet.

I think it’s just their camera and lighting.
It’s more a gray color irl, I own one
Still waiting VFC and their PPK/S
We've been told it's in the works...stay tuned.

just pre orderd one as my glock is fucked
Yikes that's something you dont hear or see often
Upper grip is too thick......

just paint over it
VFC has quality Pot Metal parts
Works great for the first 1000 rounds Then...um
I would only buy this when it has Aftermarket billet parts
it would be perfect if it looked like the m18!!!!!!!!!!!! and always only black unless your fighting in pakistan
There's already a m17 and M18 out
If there where Co2 Mags i would buy one right away!
Green gas is arguably cheaper in the long run.
