Very enjoyable and nostalgic! Pity there wasn't a blue Minibus (the ones used on services to Countess Wear and Topsham from February 1986); then the Minibus collection from 1984 - 86 would have been complete. Says a rail buff!!

But I was unable to get to this and any bus and rail events over the last few years, as I lost my left foot and lower leg mid march 2016, due to Polio and Rheumatic Fever at age 8, all due to early Post War years poor conditions allowing unhygienic non flush outside toilets that were only emptied every few weeks and caused my Polio and would be unlawful now. I also suffered another way from the war as my father blamed me and took it out on me for being blown up in the war, trying to suffocate me twice. So most of my life has been totally wrecked with continual bad luck, so I hope I start getting my deserved good luck now and I hope that the many events I have been prevented from attending through no fault of my event, are all put on again from early 2018. I am starting walking training on a prosthesis at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore N W London on 12 may 2017, but having no lower left leg left, it will be a very hard long struggle to get out of my wheelchair and be mobile again for next years events.

Thank you David. I once went on the North East Darlington to Crook rail line on a 1965 25/-day rover, after getting an A2 Pacifc Foxhunter from Newcastle Up to Alnmouth, a KI 2 6 0 to Alnwick and back. before going to Carlisle and back to Haltwhistle and on to Alston. But I was lucky on walking south thumbing cars, to get a lift the long way to Middleton in Teesdale, just in time for one of the very few trains on that branch to Darlington before the Crook line ending the tour. Where are you located David, did you catch the last days of steam and I have subscribed to your videos, Peter, Upper Clapton, N E London.

Hello Peter I'm very sorry but I don't make videos I got a channel to my name as part of my computer being set up to enable me to subscribe to TH-cam channels and to make comments on videos i like and to encourage those who make them and I hope i do encourage them! I live in Exeter, Devon and I do remember steam in that area both on the Western and Southern systems, but I was too young to take numbers I didn't start spotting until 1967 when I was 8. Very kind regards David.
