The Jesus comparison is absurd on every level, but it doesn't even support the guy's argument. He seems to be suggesting that Trump, unlike Jesus, was given no opportunity to face his accusers. But Trump could have testified before the House at any time. In fact, I'm sure they would have loved it.

The standard for impeachment is failure to execute your oath of office. Committing a criminal infraction, while in office, is 4-5 football fields past that. The founding fathers wrote Bribery and *Treason!* next to eachother. Same line, same sentence. Why do you suppose that is?
