- Here is a breakdown of our 5 plots.
In our three kill plots we planted a clover mix. (Red, White, and Ladino, clovers, Chicory, and Alfalfa.) About 5lbs per half acre.
In our main field we planted a mix of three different soybeans.
The outside of the plot we planted the Forage Beans.
Inside of the Forage beans we planted Eagle Seed Beans.
Finally on the very inside of the plot we planted Latham Field Beans.

I'm sure all your hard work will benefit your hunts. Good luck this fall.
Definitely hoping it will pay off! Good luck to you as well
Looking forward to seeing an update video on your plots. I hope they all work out !
Hopefully they will all take this year!
I broadcast $700 worth of Eagle Seed soybeans into my standing rye and crimped it with the crimper attachment of the packer max. I haven't been out to the farm yet to check on the progress but watching your video, a reoccurring soundbite haunts me, 'make sure you add inoculant... Its super important.' Oops - forgot the inoculant.
You should be alright. Inoculant forms nodules on the root system and converts nitrogen from the air into nitrogen compounds the plant can use!
Where did you get your cultipacker and seeder and disk from ? Great work brother I just did mine last week all by hand and plan to
Try to get my seed in the ground today before all the rains.
Culitipacker we got from packermaxx, we cut an old 16' disc into a few pieces and made our own. The seeder was Minneapolis Moline disc cut down into 8' Hopefully everything will come up for you!
Are y’all in Arkansas?
We're from Wisconsin!
Rain... what's that? We dry as heck out here in Tennessee
That's a bummer man!! It's been a pretty good growing season so far for us thankfully!
