Looks like you are about to have a lot of fun when you get it finished. You kept the factory floors so why not keep it all steel all glass too? It would possibly help out with more classes but with the heavily modified firewall I can see people struggling with where you run. Either way, that is looking SICK and with a big block. Your'e my hero LOL!
The big question is what is the truck's weight going to come in at when fully finished in race trim? I think it's going to be light it depends on the engine and I think you know what combo is running the best and the easiest to tune and really hard to beat in the 1/8 either a aluminum big block 540 or a hemi with a 136 or 140 or the 121 on bad surfaces pro charger with a 300 shot of nitrous out the back door is almost unbeatable if you leave together and if you get them on the tree it's over at the line!
He's a very smart racer I would say your hope will come true! But a bb or hemi twins with a very good turbo tunner can get the job done sometimes but the pro charger or a screw will get the job done all the times!

With the engine that far back i hope its procharged !!!
