Scenic, mainly off-road e-bike ride across the fells around Orton, Cumbria (Yorkshire Dales NP)

- Low level, non-technical, scenic, e-bike ride across the remote Crosby Ravensworth Fell and Asby Winderwath Common near Orton, Cumbria, but now part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
A fabulous, fun route for those who are young at heart but who don't fancy the more technical, high level routes; the routes that are readily available in books, magazines, youtube etc.
This route is 17 miles long and roughly 80% is off-road mainly across rough grassland and loose gravel/small stones, with the remainder on quiet country lanes.
A basic map of the route is available at the end of the video.
The video pays particular attention to the terrain to ensure potential riders can judge if the route is suitable for their level of riding ability. I've put together this ride and several others (work in progress) as I've found a distinct lack of detailed information on rideable off road routes for those of us with mountain e-bikes (hardtail or full suspension) who want to enjoy an easier ride. I've spent considerable time walking bridleways to assess rideability as many are just not suitable for our needs or just overgrown!
The number of senior e-bike riders appears to be rapidly increasing and I'm hoping these routes will be useful to those visiting Cumbria and the Lake District and maybe even the local residents, like ourselves.

Can you recommend a book or books on off road mountain bike routes in Cumbria?
Thank you for your positive comment. Tbh I don't use books as I feel, in the main, these are aimed at a much more advanced rider than myself and hence why I have done these videos? You may find Komoot more useful than books and you will find my routes available to view on that app under 'Cumbrian e-bike trails'.
